Guest guest
||| Hare Rama Krishna ||| Prasad Ji, and List Members, Namaskaar. To better grasp the signification of this question, I had to reflect more on what the lagna and the Moon represent, as separate entities. The traditional Kuta matching that I am familiar with always uses the placement of the Moon. This not only tells a bit on the meeting of the minds (Moon), but that of physical compatibility as well (lagna, generally speaking). Using the Lagna Nakshatra would be a variation. You can choose to experiment and research in this area if you wish. One of the categories in the Kuta matching is Vedha. This is relating to physical affliction, and the Ghaatak has been described in various classifications as well (such as Chandra, Tithi, Nakshatra, Vaara and Sthaana). http://www.srath.com/lectures/ghatak.htm You will notice that the Ghaatak related to the Nakshatra is of good concern, compared to other classifications. Hope that some of this helps. Also consider other factors in the chart besides the traditional Kuta matching numbers revealed. Best wishes and warm regards, Nitin. || Namah Shivaaya || ======================== Nitin ji, Thanks for the clarifications to my questions regds Moon and Lagna Nakshatra. Let's say there is a native for whom Vimshottari from Lagna Nakshatra is applicable (based on the Kendra occupancy rule) over the common Vomshottari from Moon Nakshatra. In this case is it advised to use his Lagna Nakshatra by defaul for eg: say in using it for Kuta match for marriage etc? If so, in case of such native can we use his/her Lagna Nakshatra and match to the Moon Nakshatra of the potential spouse for marital matching? thanks and regards -Prasad
