Guest guest
||| Hare Rama Krishna ||| Dear Prasad Ji and List Members, Namaskaar. When the Lagna is in a certain sign, one can further see which Nakshatra, and Nakshatra Pada it lies in… You can do this for all the planets as well. The Nakshatras are ruled by the Moon, whereas the Rashi by the Sun. Hence, when we refer to Nakshatras in general, an importance is given to the Moon. Amongst other, one of the times the Lagna Nakshatra is examined carefully when it is in Gandanta. One can also calculate Vimshottari based on the Nakshatra of the Moon, or that of the Lagna. May the Gurus continue to guide us. Best wishes and warm regards, Nitin. || Namah Shivaaya || >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. What does the Salagram article mean by having X star in ascendant. Is it referring to the Nakshatra the Lagna is in or the Moon is in? By default when we refer Nakshatras we refer to the Moon one. Does anyone know why? Is Lagna Nakshatra also ever used and if so when? rgds -Prasad
Guest guest
Nitin ji, Thanks for the clarifications to my questions regds Moon and Lagna Nakshatra. Let's say there is a native for whom Vimshottari from Lagna Nakshatra is applicable (based on the Kendra occupancy rule) over the common Vomshottari from Moon Nakshatra. In this case is it advised to use his Lagna Nakshatra by defaul for eg: say in using it for Kuta match for marriage etc? If so, in case of such native can we use his/her Lagna Nakshatra and match to the Moon Nakshatra of the potential spouse for marital matching? thanks and regards -Prasad vedic astrology, "Nitin" <astronitin> wrote: > > ||| Hare Rama Krishna ||| > > Dear Prasad Ji and List Members, Namaskaar. > > When the Lagna is in a certain sign, one can further see which > Nakshatra, and Nakshatra Pada it lies in… > > You can do this for all the planets as well. > > The Nakshatras are ruled by the Moon, whereas the Rashi by the Sun. > Hence, when we refer to Nakshatras in general, an importance is given > to the Moon. > > Amongst other, one of the times the Lagna Nakshatra is examined > carefully when it is in Gandanta. > > One can also calculate Vimshottari based on the Nakshatra of the Moon, > or that of the Lagna. > > May the Gurus continue to guide us. > > Best wishes and warm regards, > Nitin. > > || Namah Shivaaya || > > >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. > > > What does the Salagram article mean by having X star in ascendant.
