Dear Pradeep Ji and List Members, Namaskaar.

The Nava Amsa (9th division) is to do with fortunes ("bhagaya"). This

includes marriage as the 11th from the 9th is the 7th – i.e. "laabha"

from the "dharma" is the Yuvati.

There are various ways of examining the Navamsa (D9). The Sages have

stated the greater influence of a planet in Vargottam (having the same

Navamsa as in the Rashi) indicating that the placement in this

division is to be examined carefully.

Hence, when checking the classified "exaltation" or "debilitation" of

a said planet, one can also examine its position in the D9.

I also use it for understanding and examining curses in a chart, based

on whether an afflicted planet is in a Movable / Fixed / Dual Navamsa.

YUGA SIGNS

Hindu scriptures define four epoch or Yugas. They are Krita , Treta ,

Dwapara and Kali. At present we are in KaliYuga. The 12 signs of the

zodiac have been divided into four Yuga categories as below.

Signs Yuga

1,5,9 Krita

2,6,10 Treta

3,7,11 Dwapara

4,8,12 Kali

Planets occupying signs and Navamsas of various Yugas give results as

below.

Krita - Full results

Treta - Half result

Dwapara - Quarter

Kali - One-eighth

----

Also, consider the Karakamsa carefully.

May the Gurus continue to guide us.

Best wishes and warm regards,

Nitin.

Dear Nitin ji,

Thanks a lot for sharing the information. I was looking for the same

information since long time. Now it comes without I asking for it.

I am not able to interpret Navamsa's. I only know that I must look

if any planets are debilitated or exalted or badly placed in

Navamasa, and then use this to modify the significations from the

rasi chart. Is that it?

Ofcourse it is also used for marriage.

Regards,

Pradeep

Dear Nitin ji,

I am relating this information to my chart. Please guide me if my

understanding is wrong and help me analyze this further.

I have Ma (2nd and 9th lord) in Leo in 6th house in Rashi. It is

vargottama in Navamsa Lagna with Mo. In Rashi it is with Ke and 7th

lord Me®. 6th and 7th lord are in exchange, so technically can we

say that it is conjunct the 6th lord too?

Being in 5 (Leo), it should give full results. What would the

results be? Does the 6th and 7th lord exchange mean that I might

venture into business? Also since Ma is both 2nd and 9th lord will

it give materialistic results or spiritual

Please guide me.

Sincerely,

Supriti
