hello,

first of all, i look heavily at the house placements and house

rulerships for career. foe example, 2d finance, 11th

private/enerprenuerial, 5th creativity/speculation, 6th

medical/karma yoga(service), etc.

anyway, to answer some of your questions, i agree with the career

rulership you assign to the planets. for saturn and moon, which you

left out, i would say

saturn: menial jobs(afflicted chart), karma yoga (less afflicted),

punitive professions

moon: dairy industry, ocean (navy, shippinge etc) pearl industry,

liquids, chemicals, or simply working with the mind (mental health)

etc

 

for the various professions you gave, i would say engineering needs

to have strong mars (sharp intellect) and saturn (structure)

research needs ketu (more hidden, mystical) and rahu (obsessive

desire to know, to find out, etc)

aerospace i would add sun to the above as some say sun-mars makes

engineers, and mercury (flight)

library mngmt needs good mercury

 

otherwise, i really would not be able to tell the difference between

the specific fields you gave, most of which are related to research

of some sort. really, the skills needed are the same for all of them.

 

some say medical is mars-saturn, perhaps since mars for cutting,

saturn for service profession. but then again, look to the houses as

well.

 

hands-on healer, like energy work, massage, see connection with 3d

house(hands) and 6th (healing) and 10th.

 

theoretical physics, see mars (tejas) moon (manas) ketu (hidden)

rahu perhaps as well

 

experimental physics, mars and saturn(structure), and perhaps rahu

more than ketu?

 

anyway, this is really splitting hairs.
