I was talking in general terms. Mars is an energetic guy, and needs

good expression. Mars in 12th thus is not good from energy point of

view. It can give problems in eyes, problems in sleeping etc. But in

own house can be slightly better than other places. Celibacy is only

one of the aspects of this position, but need not be true all the

times. Mars can also show excessive lust. There are extremes of mars

position in 12th. Maha Guru Ramakrishna Paramahansa has Mars exalted

in 12th house. I have seen many cases with mars in 12th, they can be

sometimes timid, sometimes very agressive. I myself have mars in 12th

in scorpio and i am studying Jyotish since mars dasa started(15 years

back at the age of 16).

Dear Partha

I am Taurus lagna and to some extent I do have

differences with my father. It fits your views. but I

also have other factors that contribute to this,

1. Sun lords 7th from my AL and is placed in 8th. (For

idealogical differences)

2. Though sun is good in 8th for Taurus native, it is

bad for the father

3. Also I have Sa in 7th. see the relation between Su

& Sa(father & sun) in 2/12 position.

Finally as you said Sa 9th lord is also bhadakesh
