Thank you. Though I would like to quote some scripts, I shall try to

illustrate for lack of time. I shall do so if required on sunday.

 

There are basicaly 2 aspects for a Planet. I would rather say duties.

(1) Naisargika Karakatwa

(2) Bhavadhipathya

 

Suppose Lagna is Karkataka:

(1) Sun has Naisargika Karakatwa

(2) Sun is also responcible for finance (Dhana Sthana), Family

(Kutumba Sthana), Speech (Vak Sthana)

 

Suppose he interchanges (Parivartana) with Venus in Taurus.

(1) Venus has Naisargika Karakatwa - Kalatra, Vahana etc

(2) Venus is also Labhapathy (Gains), Elder Brothers, Left Hand

(Skanda) etc. Venus has the duty to provide the gains in any form.

 

If they Interchage positions

(1) Naisargika Karaka: Sun becomes responcible for Kalatra, Vahana etc

and Venus takes the duty of Father, Guru etc

(2) Bhavadhipathya : Sun takes the duty of providing gains, elder

brother etc And Venus takes the duty of Finance, Speech, Family etc.

 

 

It is said when a planet reaches its exahltation Rasi or Own Rasi or

in Lagna It gives the results that it is responcible to give.

It is also said that the planet gives its results in its dasa or chidra.

 

So Sun should give its results in its Dasa / Chidra or when it reaches

Aries or Leo in transit. The question in this case what result it is

supposed to give? The Sun Dasa/ Chidra shall affect the elder

brother/sister(Good or bad), Vehicles etc. So also Venus Dasa / Chidra

shall affect father, family, speech , finance etc.

 

The results of sun when it reaches Aries or Leo shall be provided by

Venus when it reaches Pisces/Taurus/Libra.

 

I suppose I have clarified in a slightly better way.

Namste Suresh ji,

 

Your explanation of Parivartana is very lucid. Are you sure

the Naisargika Karakatwa also exchanges due to lordship exchange? My

guess(not knowledge) is since the defn of exchange has to do with

Lords of Houses, which planet is palying a role in exchange may have

lesser importance than which houses and Lords are causing an

exchange. Also, for planets Lording 2 bhavas, do the bhavas not part

of exchange also get involved automatically? For eg:

I'm a Tula Lagna with 5th-9th Lord exchange. Saturn(4th & 5th Lord)

had an exchange with Mercury (9th & 12th Lord). From your

explanation it seems to me that only the planets involved in

parivartana seem to matter and not the houses. If so, do we infer

that in my example 5/9x = 4/9x = 5/12x = 4/12x? Or there is a

difference?

Suresh,

The explanation is very educative. Recently, I came across with 3

cases where I noticed Parivarthana.

First case: Lagna is Scorpio

The exchange is between the Lords of 4th and 11th wherein 4th house

being Aquarius and occupied by Mercury and 11th being Virgo with

Jupiter and Saturn

 

Second case: Lagna is Capricorn.

The exchange is between the Lords of 8th and 9th houses, where 8th

house, Leo (with Venus and Mercury) and 9th, Virgo with Sun.

 

Third case: Lagna: Kataka

11th house (Taurus) has Mercury and Ketu and 12th house (Gemini) has

Sat and Venus

 

Would you please comment on the significance on the above cases?

Dear Sureshji,

 

Thanx a lot for your detailed explanation .Below are some of the queries which

I wanted to clear from u.

When the Planets are in parivarthana they will connected to each other and are

responsible for giving the

effects in their way like sun gives the effects of Saturn and Saturn gives the

effect of sun(for the example which

I cited) Now the questions arises is will Saturn give the effects of 2nd house

and Sun gives the effect of 9th house

if so , When two debilitated planets exchange their houses (Mars in caner and

Moon in Scorpio) will the debilitation is

cancelled ? I read that a Duryoga will rises when in parivartana 6th , 8th or

12th House Planet participate with the

1st , 2nd etc.. for example for kumbha lagna Mercury in 10th , Mars in 8th is

duryoga , but according to you mercury

will give the results of mars and mars will give the mercury , if So mercury has

to give the results of the exalted ? So why

is this duryoga ? Please Calrify this , This will help a lot for the learners

..
