Guest guest
i came across a few websites that seem to indicate that true nodes reflect the correct motion of the nodes, that they reflect the actual "wobble" of the "earth/moon" cycles. mean nodes were used up until the 70's, as they are easier to calculate (they are in fact just that, a "mean", an average), but then with better computer technology the true nodal positions could become readiy available. furthermore, during eclipses the trus nodes are always aligned exactly with sun/moon, but the mean nodes are not, they are usually "off" a bit. sources: jyotishtools.com/node.htm that link also has a nice table showing the difference, as a graph soulscopes.com/youasked.html/#true we bow down to rahu and ketu, lords of confusion kalidas
Guest guest
Hmmmmm.....I was thinking too if Mercury is the nakshastra dispositor of my Ketu in Ashlesha in 12th with true node, it might carry the malefic energy of Ketu and 12th house into my 3rd house which would affect my Sun and Venus in 3rd house. That could indicate loss of siblings(3rd house) and father(Sun) and could possibly mystical spouse (Venus). It can also indicate loss and suffering of spouse. But Saturn as the nakshastra dispositor of my Ketu in Pushya in 12th with mean node and in my 10th house can indicate loss and suffering in career as well as mystical type career. The career loss and suffering is true, and I had psychological problems when I was in my navy. I do plan on adding mystical element to my career. My girlfriend and I talked about having our own New Age business. Saturn is my 7th house lord, and so career can involve spouse. With Saturn nakshatra dispositor of Ketu in Pushya in 12th, that could indicate mystical spouse. Of course,it could indicate loss and suffering involving spouse. I definitely believe that Ketu is the planet of loss, suffering, and mysticism from what I have seen in charts including my own. My mother has Ketu in 1st,and she's losing her health, appearance, and could lose body parts because of her diabetes. Her Sun in 12th is just as bad. She did lose her father to suicide in 1997. Sun in 12th seems to relate to health problems too. According to Andrew Bloomingfield, Ketu in 1st brings a mystical nature and highly sensitive nervous system. Like Rahu in 1st, Ketu can bring unhappiness in marriage and the possibility of more than one marriage. Although it is unclear in which house Ketu operates at its weakest,a problematic Ketu can make one highly susceptible to peer influence and other people's energy. Andrew seems to think that Ketu is like Neptune in western astrology. He says that it can indicate mysticism or psychic ability, hypersensitivity, wild imagination,or psychosis.
