hello,

mars mahadasha began 8 years ago, it is lord of 10th career, and

conjunct rahu, creating problems.

recently, you entered the rahu mahadasha period, started in 2004.

you are in the first bhukti, rahu rahu. this causes the feeling of

being at a crossroads in your life, as you put it.

between getting a job, or engaging in private entreprenuerial

export/import, you need to go into export/import.

rahu is in the 11th, of side ventures, conjuct mars, 10th lord, in

the house of side ventures.

rahu indicates the direction you need to go, and its cycle starts

now for you, pushing you to stop what you were doing, and go towards

a new and unknown thing. (unless you have done import/export for

many years already, then i am wrong)

rahu is in purva ashadha, nakshatra ruled by venus, lord of 9th

house of foreign journeys, so rahu cycle will activate that

placement, as also venus is in the 9th house as well. this simply

gives the side ventures a foreign element, such as, for example,

import/export.

in your case, the dispositor of rahu, jupiter, is conjunct ketu, so

you actually need to go to your ketu, for future direction, as well.

being in the 5th house of speculations and investments, this is the

area you need to develop career wise, as mars career lord, is on

this nodal axis as well being in the 11th house, as mentioned

earlier.

i did a prashna too.(11 feb, 9:36p, boulder, colorado, us) it shows

lagnesh budha in ithasala with lord of 12th surya, 12th house of

living in and moving to remote foreign countries. they were both

conjunct in the 5th house of investments.

so it seems you may well end up in us/canada as well. perhaps you

will do so in your capacity as an entreprenuer, or perhaps you will

get a job in management, as you mentioned, and then from us/canada

start your private bussiness. that i cannot tell.

but definately choose the small bussiness, wherever it leads.

by the way, the d10 career chart shows mars lord of the 11th(side

ventures, entreprenuer) in the 10th(career), conjunct jupiter, lord

of the 10th, showing yet another connection. this also creates a

guru mangala yoga, giving success in this undertaking.

if you were to travel, when?

in oct 2005-apr 2006 you start rahu rahu venus, rahu's nakshatra is

ruled by venus, and venus itself is lord of 9th of foreign travel.

also, transit jupiter will go into your 9th house oct 2005.

also, the prashna gives 7 degrees(between lagnesh and 12th lord)=7

months=sep/oct as a possible time.

also, the prashna has moon lord of 11th aspecting the lagna, another

indication of private venture.

also, the lagnesh and lord of 10th (getting a job) were both budha,

so in that case one must look to the moon or 11th lord(here, also

chandra). it has no ithasala with budha(out of orb, and mars causing

manau yoga), so you will not get a job.

however, in the prashna saturn was in the 10th house, aspecting the

moon, indicating a possible delay, though tough to say by how much.

in looking at your chart, it seems rahu jupiter period is really the

one i would pick for foreign travel, especially if you do not do so

in oct 2005-apr 2006, since natal jupiter aspects the 9th, and

transit jupiter will still be in it. that will be starting oct 2006.

all i can say, is, yes you will travel, and yes you will succeed in

import/export.
