Dear Friend,

The present experience is a manifestation of Ketu dasa and Sade sati. Ketu is

co-lord of 11H and hence a functional malefic. 11H is also a badhaka sthana for

a movable lagna and hence Ketu can be behave partially like a badhkesh creating

some obstacles. Ketus placement in Lagna makes you a private person and comes

in the way for building lasting emotional ties. Ketu has karmic connection and

is known to create blocks at psychological levels, sometimes with an element of

guilt!

 

Benefic/ Malefic: For Capricorn Lagna , Venus is a YK, Mercury is benefic, Sun a

neutral, Saturn a mild marka plus LL, Jupiter, Mars and Moon are malefic. Native

is born in Krishna Paksha and hence the Moon is also a natural malefic.

 

KAY: Moon is outside the Rahu – Ketu axis breaking the KAY. An unbroken KAY

usually leads a native towards giving up materialism and following the

spiritual path! Benefic breaking the Yoga is considered good and Moon breaking

it is called mahasankha yoga. If this reading is correct the indications are

strong for native to start some path breaking, new things in life.

 

Amsa: All D60 amsas are benefic except for Moon that is placed in Mrutyu amsa.

 

Transits: Moon is in Cancer with Rahu. Saturn’s transit indicates Sade-sati.

Saturn’s transit over Moon afflicts Moon (mind) further and creates depression

and anxieties.

 

Remedy for Sade-Sati: “For the sade sati or any troubles of transit Saturn,

either the Chamaka prasna, 3rd anuvaka is good or the Baudhayana Rudra Mantra

"Om Namo Bhagavate Rudraya" is good or the Hanuman Mantras as you suggested.”

 

Your next dasa of Venus starting 2007 which lasts for about 20 years should be

good since venus is a YK. It is however placed in 8H and in an inimical rashi.

Btw Venus in 8H shows loss of sibling prior to you i.e. abortion, a premature

delivery to mother or a still born child etc. Do you know if this was the case?
