Guest guest
Dear All, I have come across many tamil astrological publications (except for few) which says that saturn is still in gemini and it never moved to cancer on sep. 5th 2004. It moves to cancer only around May or June of this year. Even a respected astrologer AM Rajagopalan who is pretty famous in Tamilnadu said that saturn is moving to cancer only in June 2005 and it didn't move on sep 5th/6th 2004. I checked current position of planets at that time in NASA sites and they all said that saturn is still in gemini and it said that saturn never moves to cancer until june 2005. Can somebody please explain it to me why we are considering that saturn has moved to cancer already and it is in gemini right now by retrogade motion.. thanks partha

Guest guest
Dear Partha and all, Thanks for the quick reply. But my question is why people have different views on this. Most of the astrologers in Tamilnadu says that saturn never moved to cancer at all and it will move to cancer only in june 2005 (even nasa's website suuports this). But in this forum I find that saturn has moved to cancer in sep 2004 and moved back to gemini in retrograde. why there is a conflicting view?. In fact more than 2 months back I read an interview of a famous Math leader located in andhra pradesh who said jayalalithaa's time is lucky ( her moon is in leo) and after june 2005 her time will change and she will suffer because of sade sati.. He clearly stated that saturn has not moved from gemini yet.. can you please clarify.. thanks partha vedic astrology, Partha Sarathy <partvinu@g...> wrote: > Dear Partha > > Saturn moved to cancer, started retrograding and returned back to > gemini, will become direct again and move to cancer > best wishes > partha > > > > On Wed, 09 Feb 2005 08:35:56 -0000, partha_r <partha_r> wrote: > > > > > > Dear All, > > I have come across many tamil astrological publications (except for > > few) which says that saturn is still in gemini and it never moved to > > cancer on sep. 5th 2004. Guest guest
Different views may be due to use of Different Aynamsa, and different panchangas For Nasa Scientists, concerned with the Absolute Postion of Planets, there is NO RETROGRADE Motion. It is only when we see the postion from Eatrh that we see this reltive Retrogration Hope this is of some help --- partha_r <partha_r wrote: > > Dear Partha and all, > Thanks for the quick reply.
