Guest guest Posted February 8, 2005 Report Share Posted February 8, 2005 Delhi, India 1:26AM Some Important Events of her life: Got Married in Nov’2000 Had a baby Girl in June’2002 Father passed away June’2004 Areas of Study: Profession I would like to discuss this case with the panel and will look forward to your input on this case. This girl got an excellent break in her career back in 1997(while still studing), as a school teacher in one of the well know schools in Delhi. She worked in this school till mid 2000 i.e. just till getting married. After marriage she was in Middle East for a year and thereafter immigrated to Canada with her husband in Jan’2002. Because of some reason or other she couldn’t proceed with her career life. She did got a part time job in a Call Center almost 2 years back in 2003, where she is still working. In order to further increase her career prospects she took a short course in Payroll Administration (Linked with HR and Finance) during the end of year 2004. She tried getting a job with her new qualification, still no luck. Now, she have finally decided to take up a career in Life Insurance and Education saving plans for children, as a self employed person(Sort of own business). This time she is bit confused, as to go ahead and do the needful or not. My Analysis: Insurance Industry karaks: Mercury, Saturn and Jupiter. If we look at her chart. Mercury being the 10th lord is expecting 10th house. Jupiter is placed in 8th house i.e. 11th from 10th house. Saturn karak for 8th house is in 11th house 2nd from 10th. If we look at her Dasamsa Chart: Mercury is exalted in 10th house. Saturn is exalted in 11th house. Jupiter is placed in 2nd house aspecting 10th house. My Confusions: Looking at her chart, I really can’t find any reason why she couldn’t get a job till now specially in Rahu-Saturn period, which is in progress since 2003. Even though she was trying for a job as a payroll assistant, which is related to Rahu(Working in computer related jobs) and Saturn(HR). I can’t find any reason why she can’t be a very successful self employed person in Insurance business. But still would like to have all your opinion on whether she shall pursue with this career or not? When possibly can she expect getting gains from her profession and have stable career? I too have a question for other colleagues. How is Rahu so influential in her life/career etc. It is in second house, not a good house for results, neither is it in its mooltrikona or own house. Guest guest Posted February 9, 2005 Report Share Posted February 9, 2005 I understand what you are saying, but how I have analyzed it is that Jupiter is retrograted which increases the strength of any planet to do good or bad as compared to if it was in direct motion. As far as education goes, she is BEd, M.A. as well as got education recently for Payroll course. Jupiter being major karak for education and children it's tough to believe that it is weak in this case. As far as Rahu is concerned, in Navamsa it is placed in 6th house (good house for Rahu) along with Mercury and Jupiter aspecting the 10th house. Please correct me, if I am understanding things wrong? Further he is likely to give results of Venus, who is posited in the 5th house, or of Saturn, the 5th / 6th lord. It was in Rahu-Jup-Jup (7th lord), that she got married and in Rahu-Jup-Moon she got the child. Saturn is in parivatrana with Moon and is in the 7th both from moon and kalatra karaka venus. In navamsa too saturn is the 7th lord from Asc and Venus. Hence Rahu giving the results of Saturn, brought her marriage and child. But Rahu is debilitated in dasamsa lagna and is in the 10th from Moon in Rasi. More than lack of opportunities, I think the problem is more of willingness / adjustment / and attachment to family and child. Perhaps working from home would be a good idea.... Just my 2 cents. But that makes me to wonder whether we should put more emphasis on Nakshtra or the swagrahi/mooltrikona status of Rahu/Ketu and planets. I see Nakshtra only as a supplement. Yes her Venus is YK and strong establishing a yoga between 5th and 9th houses and her materialistic benefits are therefore assured. Sundeep, Jupiter is not only weak because of being retro (there are diverse opinions about the results of retro Jup) but also being in a dusthana house, conjunct with ketu and above all weak by its degrees.
