I am posting only selcted earthquakes which are over 5 on Richter scale.Apart from above, Papua witnessed a volcanic erruption affecting hundreds of people who had to be evacuated. Loss of life was reported. Japan experienced one of the worst blizzards in recent history . It has affected communication, transportation and hundreds of flights have been cancelled today. ADDENDUM TO ABOVE DATES After posting the dates of likely events, I was able to lay my hands on a database of majr earthquakes and natural disasters. Based on comparative studies, I feel that 2nd, February thro to 4th February period,when Moon is with Ketu and in 2nd house from Ketu, the seismic activity will be definately a cause for concern. It was felt in the Wairarapa and Wellington regions. The tremor occurred at 10:08 local time (03:08 GMT) Monday and lasted for about 20 seconds, the provincial geophysics agency reported, as quoted by the Antara news agency. The epicenter was located beneath the water off Sumatra island,about 30 km northwest of the Aceh provincinal capital of Banda Aceh.
