Indication for Medical Profession

Hi All,

 

Can people give there view on the

combinations/indications of medical studies and

medical profession in the chart. What other charts

apart from D1 should we consider?

I think Mars and Sun should be strong in the chart.

Mercury+mars for surgeons(in d-10), saturn for pharmacists

Medical Profession

 

Now-a-days, choice of profession is not a matter of inborn abilities but other

factors, namely, market trend, parents pressure and high salaries cast

significant role in this regard. You may confront peoples having concern

combinations in their charts, listed by Jyotish classics, but they are not

doctors/surgeons etc. So one should borne this issue in mind before predicting

medical profession.

 

Here's some addition, what Sri Partha has briefly mentioned.

 

· Jupiter is the ruling planet for ayurveda and traditional medicine

practice, apart from consultant in general.

· Saturn signifies Yunani (Greek) medical practice. It also shows

practitioner of chronic disease.

· Rahu stands for pharmaceuticals, drugs and modern medicines.

· Ketu indicates devices and machines and their knowledge used in medical

sciences.

· Mars indicates surgical expertise and tendency.

· Venus gives healing touch.

· Unafflicted Sun ensures success.

· Sun+Mercury association aspected by Jupiter gives wit and sharp memory

required in medical profession.

· Sun or Ketu in sign of Jupiter (i.e. Sagittarius and Pisces) also yields

medical skills and natural gift of healing.

· Sun associated with Rahu may makes one an allopathic expert.

· Moon or Lagna in Cancer may make one good nurse or gives education in

biological sciences.

· The influence of Sun, Mercury and Jupiter play an important role for

making the individual a successful medical practitioner.

· The association of Mars and Mercury may make the native well versed in

medicine and drug.(Jataka Parijat)

· Three important rashis concern with medical profession, medicines and

hospitals, viz.; Virgo, Scorpio and Pisces respectively. Thus rajyapad (A10) in

these signs in D-1 and D-10 indicate career in hospitals, drug store and

clinical lab etc. subject to other factors.

· Similarly tenth lord navamsa (or dasamsa) when fall into Vi, Sc, Pi may

also give medical profession.

· The dushtan bhavas (6th, 8th and 12th) show natural tendency towards

mentioned matters. Specially melefics in 8th aspect by Jupiter or Venus.

· Above yogas in succeeding houses (3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th) promises

research and innovative excellence in medical sciences.

· Above yogas and strong the Sun in different rashi reveal trend to attain

specialization concern to quality of that rashi. For example, Cancer/Leo

portrays heart specialist, Scorpio gynecologist, Aries a neuro-surgeon, Taurus

a dentist etc.

Can you explain why the following Native is a Medical

professional.

17th Oct 1967: 18:40

Ujjain, MP, 75E46, 23N11

 

As far as my knowledge goes, only aries lagna with

Mars in 9th house in the star of Ketu explains that.

Also, as lagna lord is in 9th house so that means

person will be lucky with the profession related to

Mars.

Also, the planet for giving healing power, Sun, is

debilitated in 7th house.

Dear Anil

 

8 years ago in the annual issue of Astrological Magazine a detailed

article was presented on the medical profession.

 

I had in my earlier mail gave some simple inputs

 

a) Venus and sun for healers

b) mercury+mars in dasasma for surgeons

c) prominent dusthanas

 

I did not give a long list as people tend to get confused. If you use

the above thumb rules 80 percent of doctors can be easily traced as if

you are tracing a sheep in a groups of lions.

 

Now if you see this chart, Mercury, sun and ketu are in a Venusian sign,

the 10th lord Sani is with fourth lord moon in a DUSTHANA(12t house)

that too pisces which apart from the rashi virgo is the hospital of

Zodiac

the navamsa rising is LEO lorded by SUN and VENUS sits in it

The Dasamsa has MERCURY+MOON+Rahu in a Venusian Sign in 10th house of

karma In dasamsa again the 10th lord venus is in 6th house of disease

and also the rashi is Capricorn. Saturn the lord of Capricorn stands

for disease

What more you want to tell that he is a doctor.
