Rather than name it "Manglik" try to understand what

Mars is doing. Any thoughts on this...?

 

Secondly, I have seen the term "Manglik" applied after

careful consideration of the placement of Mars in

Houses -- 1, 4, 7, 8, 12.

astrologers in South India Consider Mangala in 2nd also as Magalik. Some even

consider the Placement from Moon or Venus in 1,2,4,7,8, 12 as Magalik. With

this wide definition almost every one could be a Mangalik.

 

I would advise "stick to 1,4,7,8,12 " only from Lagna. Check on the exceptions
