Guest guest
Namaste Satish, In the free (lite) version of "Jagannatha Hora", you can find ashtakavarga of rasi chakra and various divisional charts (varga chakras). In the full version, you can find ashtakavarga of bhava chakra also (though I personally have reservations about finding bhava chakra just based on the longitude of lagna and using it in the ashtakavarga computations, given that the whole concept of ashtakavarga is based on the idea that there are 8 references and not just one - lagna!). The full version of my software gives 6 different options to experiment with some inconsistencies in the teachings of Parasara and Varahamihira. These options have to do with the benefic positions of Moon from Moon, Mars and Jupiter and benefic positions of Venus from Mars. You can use Parasara's definition or Varahamihira's definition for each of the inconsistency. The full version gives another unique option for researchers. You can "reverse" all the definitions! I will elaborate. In the normal usage, ashtakavarga of a planet in each sign shows from how many of the eight references, the planet is benefic in that sign. The other way is to show in each sign in the ashtakavarga of a planet how many planets are benefic in that sign from that planet. You could use either definition in the full version. This can facilitate research. Actually, there is another important and innovative option in my software that is not hidden from others and available only to me at this point of time. But it will eventually be available to all, once I decide to share my research with all (god willing). Somebody talked about the SAV of Bill Gates and how the principles fail in it. That is true with the normal definitions. Irrespective of whther you use rasi chart or bhava chart (using any house division), irrespective of Varahamihira/Parasara definition, you don't get an impressive 11th house (of gains and fructification of desires) as one would expect. Using the method I found in my research, Bill Gates has a score of 31 in 9th house, 34 in 10th house and 37 in 11th house. That is a very impressive average of 34 in the important trio of houses in the visible half (9th, 10th and 11th). I have done a lot of work on this alternative approach and find it most logical. In fact, I do not deviate from Parasara at all. It is not some new radical research, but just a small twist from what others do, following Parasara very strictly! If I mention it, people will wonder why they did not think of it earlier. The twist is so simple! But my interpretation is different from that of Dr. Raman, Dr. PS Sastri and C.S. Patel. I have heard that Sri KN Rao has some secrets on ashtakavarga and I have always wondered if he and I came up with the same approach. I have always been extremely curious about his findings. Rao garu, if you cannot reveal your method, can you atleast tell me the scores in the 9th, 10th and 11th houses in Bill Gates' SAV?
