Om Krishna Guru,

Namaste Narasimha,

That is a very good point you have made it. What time should

be considered as a Swearing in time?

Please tell us what is the correct time we should consider for

such events as per your understanding.

Also tell me what time you have considered this event for Bush.

I wanted to attempt and give my analysis, once I get the exact

time from you or some one else in this list.

Regards

Raghunatha Rao

Re: Bush Swearing in time

Hi Whatiyam,

What is the definition of swearing-in that you used in your

observation?

Is it the time when Bush started "I, George W Bush" or is it the time

when he said "I swear" or is it the time he finished the whole

sentence?

Thank you very much for noting the time so accurately! It will be

very helpful.

I was at work at that time and could not follow the event.

May Jupiter's light shine on us,

Narasimha

I think when he starts with the word "I......" that should be marked as the

swearing in time. I have noted the time to be 11:57 am, (washington D.C.).

Thanks.

Dear List members, Namaskaar.

Perhaps something subjective…

This reminds me of our usual discussion on the birth of a child…

:>

Is the child born when the infant is first visible?

(Does the oath start and swearing-in finish here?)

Is the child born when it emerges?

(Continuation of the oath being spoken and swearing-in finish?)

Is the child born when out of the womb and as a separate physical entity?

(Oath is complete – i.e. no more words to it.)

Best wishes,

Nitin.

|| Namah Shivaaya ||

==============

I would think that the swearing in time is the time Bush starts to

take his oath. It would be difficult to say that the time to be

considered is when he says any particular word in the whole ceremony.

I think when he starts with the word "I......" that should be marked

as the swearing in time. I have noted the time to be 11:57 am,

(washington D.C.).

Thanks.
