Dear Mark,

The way u describe your chart I am reminded of mine. There are 4 planets

together in 2nd house (like your 11th). These are Sun, Mercury, Ketu and

Jupiter (instead of your Venus). I am not counting Neptune which is also there.

There is a Moon Saturn connection too like in your chart. Moon has the 10th

house aspect of Saturn. Mars aspects the 2nd house as well as 3rd house which

has moon. Jupiter has a benign 5th house gaze on Saturn in 6th House and 7th

house gaze on Mars.

Sometimes I am overtaken by dark moods like now. But I don't know to what extent

we should look at our stars for our behavour. We feel a little less responsible

for what we are when we attribute things to the stars. Shouldn't we be taking

the entire responsibility on us for acting the way we do? This is in line with

the philosophy that we should feel that we exercise a choice in our actions

instead of being driven into action by stars and their aspects.

Best wishes,

Vinita

is a fascinating aspect of Jyotish, ahhh, no pun intended, heheeheh. But, another

really good way to tell whether 'conjunction', or when a planet is in

a house,or opposite another house, or even in it's aspectings,.... is to look at

these through the eyes,of the daily, weekly, monthly and yearly

transits....Watch the Moon for example. When the Moon moves through the sky

and moves through our charts, especially when you can learn to 'feel' it, you

can start to realize...the real truths of Jyotish. For example, when the Moon is

getting bigger, like now, and then when it moves through the different signs,

and especially moves into similar houses with other planets.... you can really

feel those!Take the up-coming Moon & Saturn conjunction starting in about 2

days....Right now the Moon's in Taurus, and only at the 3rd degree, so still a

lot of Exaltedness, left....But in a 'few' days, let's say 2 1/2, the Moon will

move into Gemini, where it will come within 30 degrees of any planets in

Gemini.Right now, Saturn has Retrograded back into Gemini, so soon, the Moon

& Saturn will be conjunct. So, everyone watch how you feel.... now...and in 3, 4

and then 5 days.... that Saturn/Moon conjunction...Then, compare these feelings

with the feelings that come next when the Moon moves past Saturn and into the

next sign...That will be quite a shift this month/year, especially because the

Moon feels soooo happy in Cancer. Then, for the next 2 1/2 days the Moon will be

in Cancer, it's Own Sign,....but then, the Moon will move into Leo, which is

farther and farther away from Saturn,....but....the Moon will be in a sign,

where it's supposed to fall under the 3rd house 'aspect' of Saturn...See, if

you/all, can feel that same Saturn feeling that happened when Saturn&Moon were

conjunct, see if you don't feel that same flavor. Then, when the Moon, continues

around the sky, next it will move into Sagittarius, which is the Sign,

completely opposite to Saturn, in Gemini, and then, when Moon

moves into Pisces, Saturn's 10th House aspect is supposed to kick in.Experience

shows which qualities of Jyotish are more strong and give very practical

understanding that will allow us to understand the same kind of 'aspects' and

'conjunctions', or placements as you say; that are in our charts.Hope this

helps....Sincerely,Mark Kincaidps.... instead of asking people to guess about

your chart, why don't you share with people, your experience which are

stronger. For example, in my chart, I have Moon & Saturn together in the 12th

house, only 1 house away from my Sun in the 11th.Well, believe me, I can say

with complete reliability, that the consequence of this 'configuration' has

been very striking to me.Plenty of feelings of isolation, loneliness, sadness,

even depression growing up.And as I learned my chart I could 'feel' Saturn's

aspects into my 3rd house, and 6th house.... especially. Not

only was I shy, due to the Moon being in the 12th, but, my 2nd house of speech

was very much effected too, and I was extremely shy in school, had a very

difficult time getting up and speaking in class, etc. But, I also have Jupiter

in my 6th in Pisces, in my 6th and at the very same time I had all these,

problems of Moon/Saturn in the 12th,.... I found some very good qualities due

to Jupiter.First of all, I had pretty good health. Secondly I noticed that

Saturn's normal negative aspect upon the Sign opposite to itself, was probably,

improved due to Jupiter's simultaneous aspect back, upon Saturn and the Moon.I

could also 'feel' all the good qualities of Jupiter's supposed influence upon

the Sign opposite it!I also had many of the predictatively 'good' qualities of

Jupiter upon the Moon, which was a clear example of the 7th House

'aspect'.Then, there are the aspects of Jupiter. Jupiter's supposed to

influence not only the Sign

where it is, but also 5 Houses away in addition to the classic 7th house

aspect. And I could really feel that too. Jupiter in the 6th, then, casts it's

5th house aspect into the 10th house, where I have Cancer. And from as long as I

can remember I 'knew' that I wanted to be a teacher.First of all, I loved

teachers growing up, I loved watching them, and admired them greatly. These

qualities are good examples of Jupiter's 5th house aspect. And finally, when I

try and look and find, Jupiter's 9th house aspect, I find that Jupiter's

supposed to be aspecting my 2nd house. So, not only was I shy due to Saturn's

aspect from the 12th, but, I felt also another influence which later I realized

was probably Jupiter's which wanted to be able to speak and express

myself.Eventually, as I learned how to diminish or transform Saturn's negative

'glances' into more positive one's, I began to feel more comfortable speaking

and eventually became

quite comfortable in front of a crowd, or even lecturing. So, I'm sure we all,

will enjoy hearing about how you've come to understand and experience your

chart, too. I'd love to hear your own private experiences as to the effects of

the Planets 'in' different houses/signs, and their simultaneous effects upon,

opposite signs and houses.Sincerely,Mark Kincaidfounder Nature's

Dear Vinita, Dear Friends,

Thank you for bringing up this issue, if I may comment on your

question;

It does not matter much whether we think we are responsible for our

behaviour or the Grahas are responsible for that. In any case

according to the law of karma, we are responsible for our

behaviour/actions. The Grahas as representatives of God in our

lives, are merely reflecting our actions back to us. This is what

Jyotish and Grahas are all about. E.g. we try to predict when the

results of certain action of ours (or people we are connected with)

in the past (in this or previous lives) come back to us.

On the other hand to a certain extent our behaviour is controlled by

Grahas, and for the rest we make our own decisions out of our free-

will. And we do not really know, when we take a decision, was it

because of our free-will or the influence of the Grahas. But what we

can do for ourselves, is to try to make sure that we behave in the

correct way as much as possible. Since from a practical standpoint,

we do not know when the result of a certain action of ours today,

will return to us, it may be tomorrow or many lives later.

Also, if we behave good and do the right things, our lives

relatively go through better times, if not, our lives turn into

suffering. Nature has some degree of elasticity, e.g. it may appear

that somebody is not doing the right thing and inspite of this, may

be going through a good time, but it is for sure that that person

will reap/harvest the results of his doing sooner or later.

There is an often unknown aspect of this matter; that is, all this

is going on to help us guide in the path of evolution to reach

higher and more happier levels of life and living. E.g. the Grahas

are not merely punishing us, for our past wrong doings, they are

actually guiding us towards the better even when they are punishing.

The matter of what is wrong and right, should be judged according to

what the elders and scriptures are saying, and according to the

norms of the society we are living in. Another golden rule is to try

to stay away from hurting others and causing harm as much as

possible (which ofcourse may not be always possible for all

circumstances, and even then, when we are hurting somebody, some

reaction will come back to us).

We should never forget that there is a constant interaction going on

between ourselves, and nature or Grahas. It is not that, we have

done certain things in the past, and some certain things are

destined to come exactly in some fixed manner back to us, there are

subtleties to this mechanism, and this is where "remedies" in

Jyotish come into the picture.

Best wishes, Sabri.
