Guest guest
Dear all, What are the varous methods, principles and steps involved in analyzing the Rasi/Navamsa for marital compatibility of potential groom and bride. Most home grown astrologers, I came across seem to do a Nakshatra based match (point system of 36 where less than 18 is rejected, 18-27 average and 27+ good) and pass or fail the match. Others seem to do the Nakshatra and the Kuja dosha check and then pass or fail the same. Is that all there is to analyze matrimonial compatibility. Are the above two checks even supposed to be the top- most ones that can wholly decide which match is to be rejected. It doesn't seem very logical to me that whereas various houses, lords, planets, aspects and associations in both Rasi and respective Divisional are considered for various aspects of life, when it comes to compatibility judgement is done based on wholly on Nakshatra and the only planet and position considered seems to be of Mars. I'd be glad if learned members of the group can throw more light on the same. regards -Prasad
