Guest guest
DEAR Friends, all: I'd also like to add something. We should remember that most of the Jyotish that we look at is an individual's 30 year Saturn cycled chart. In other words, we've only recently become more interested in events that influence whole countries, and individual charts too. Also, if you look at 2 different charts, both people born on January 9th, but you can't tell what the year is, you might be hard pressed to guess what century their charts were from. So, there might be a branch of Jyotish which have to do with the wider cycles, of centuries, or yugas, as Vedic Science calls them. For example there's a Jyotish cycle that covers the movement of our Sun, around the center of our milky way galaxy. This cycle takes 100's of thousands of years, and may be the Jyotish reason why at one point we have an agricultural age, and at another, an industrial one. I hope other learned members shall throw some light to expalin this matter very well.
