Guest guest
Dear Sir, Thank you for your detailed explanation on Mantras. I think after reading your post, I am getting more confused as many things are new to me like chanting Mrityunjaya Mantra on empty stomach. Also you mention Breaking / helping Karma Bandha make one fall into another wrina trap. I understand this as all astrologers are doing some wrong thing by helping/finding the problems/suggesting solutions to other people. If it is so what can a helpless person do in the midst of problems, where there is no one to help because of fear of wrina trap. If remedial measures are not offered to suffering people, I think astrology will be fruitless. What is the use of finding the source of problem if we have nothing to offer to solve the problem. Please enlighten me and clear my doubts. Guest guest
Namasthe. Astrology – "Jyotish" – "Jyoti" + "Aksham" - "Jyoti" mean light and "Aksham" means – eyes. One who shows light is a Jyotish. The meaning of this definitely to help others. But it carries with it its own responsibilities and other effects. This is not a science with just mathematical calculations alone. No were in my earlier post did I mention that one should not help others. I believe you did not understand the meaning of the last sloka. I shall repeat it "Sudarshana Mahajwala Kotisurya Samaprabha. Agjanadhasyame nithyma vishnor margam pradarshaya" "Sudarshana" – Sudarshana Chakra "Mahajwala" – The great fire – toung of fire "Koti Surya Samaprabha" = the radience of a thousand sun "Agjanandasyame" – "Agjana" + "Andasya" + "Me" "Agnjana" = Lack of Knowledge Andasya = Darkness "Me" = I === Darkness due to my lack of Kanowledge "nithyam" - = Always "Vishnor Margam" Pradarshaya" "Vishnor" = Vishnu's Margam = Path "Pradarshaya"= show. This is a prayer to sudarshana charkra who is the fire itself with a radiance of thousand suns to show the way to vishnu's abode from the darkness I have fallen due to lack of knowledge. This is very deep from the point of view of Yoga Sutra and Vedas. This will only confuse you further – Sudarshan Chakra is situated on the region of heart – Jeevathma. Vishnor margam – Vishnu here is Surya Mandala – Moksha Marga – This is prayer to release ones jeevathma from the cycle of birth and death – wrina moksha , Mokasha from karma bandhana. Your curiosity is very good. Curiosity leads to greater knowledge. Tip: Start with Bhagavath Geetha.
