Even before your suggestion, I have already gone through the article

and after that still I have confusion, that is why I have posted the

query.

Please clear the following doubts.

 

1. For Ishta Devata purpose only Avataras of Vishnu are considered?

Per the article :

3.2.1 Paraà padaà of Viñëu

Every part of this creation is a Guru, a teacher and the soul is

constantly learning new lessons and refining the knowledge of older

lessons in its constant interaction with the other souls or the super

soul. The Åk veda teaches that the penultimate objective of every

jévätma (living being – having a soul) is the paraà padaà of Viñëu.

The içöa devatä will finally be a Viñëu avatära although various

deities could be guiding the native during this search for the

ultimate truth depending on the influences in the twelfth (mokña) and

ninth house (dharma) from kärakamsa.

20. Lord Vishnu, coupled with Śrī Shakti, rules over the three worlds.

I am still trying to further grasp the principles of creation as

outlined in the first chapter of this great Vedic text.

 

 

2. For Palana Devata purpose other dieties can be considered?

3. What if there is another planet with the house lord.

Consider both planets. Ultimately, it should be the Moon, leading to

the works of the Ishta. Use the same rules for the Paalan Dev.

 

 

4. In the referred case Moon and Venus both female planets are

placed in a female sign of Virgo so can we consider the Ishta Devata

a Female Goddess?
