Guest guest
||| Hare Rama Krishna ||| Kumanan Ji, Manaskaar. I have below for your, and other list members, consideration of an English translation for Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra (BPHS) which will reveal a bit more on the [Parasara] Hora. =========== Ch. 6. The Sixteen Divisions of a Rashi 5-6. Rashi and Horā. The Rashi, owned by a Grah, is called its Kshetra. The first half of an odd Rashi is the Hora, ruled by Sūrya. While the second half is the Hora of Candr. The reverse is true in the case of an even Rashi. Half of a Rashi is called Hora. These are totally 24, counted from Mesh and repeated twice (at the rate of 12) in the whole of the zodiac. =========== In the Parasara Hora, I only see Saturn in Cancer for you, based on the information given. Best wishes, Nitin. || Namah Shivaaya || =========== Namaste Nitin Ji, Sorry I forgot to mention AM/PM in my birth time. My birth time is 12:03 PM. I am using the D2 Hora chart as calculated by Parasara Light software. It doesn't tell me which method it uses. I checked Jaganatha hora lite free version. Parasara CN-LE Hora, Jaganatha hora and Parivriti dwaya hora charts did not match with the hora chart of Parsara Light software. I couldn't try the other 3 hora's Samasaptaka Hora, Mandooka Hora and Kashinatha Hora because I am using free version of Jaganatha Hora. The closest match is Parasara CN-LE Hora. The difference is Parasara Light shows Rahu is in the first house and Jupiter in 3rd house. But according to Jaganatha Hora lite software both Rahu and Jupiter are in the second house. I was trying to use the same principles in D2 chart that I would apply to Rasi chart, but from your description it looks much more complicated than that. Thank you, Kumanan ========== Hora D-2 +--------------+ | \Md Mo Ma HL / \ / | | \ Ve Su Ra / \ / | | \ MeR JuR / \ / | | \ Ke / Sa \ / | | \ / \ / | |AL x As x | | / \ / \ | | / \ GL / \ | | / \ / \ | | / \ 4 / \ | | / \ / \ | | x | | \ / \ / | | \ / \ / | | \ / \ / | | \ / \ / | | \ / \ / | | x x | | / \ / \ | | / \ / \ | | / \ / \ | | / \ / \ | | / \ / \ | +--------------+
