You may be knowing that in this year of Scientific Awareness, our wing (SEW) is

organizing a National Conference on Scientific Awareness on 27th Dec. (Vigyan

bhawan, New Delhi) and on 28th (ORC) with the co-sponsorship from Ministry of

Science & Technology, Govt.of India and National Hydro electric Power

Corporation. The tentative programme is as follows:

Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi (27th Dec 2004)

 

10.00 to 11.30 am : Inaugural Session

12.00 to 02.00 pm : Six technical Sessions Paper Presentations in

differet groups (various fields of Science & Technology)

03.00 to 04.30 pm : Plenary Session Briefing of various grous of

previous session by the respective chairpersons

05.00 to 07.00 pm : Open Session Scientific Awareness

vis-a-vis Self Awareness

06.30 to 08.00 am : Retreat Session - I Consciousness

09.30 to 11.00 am : Retreat Session - II Self Empowerment

11.15 to 12.45 pm : Retreat Session - III Rajyoga Meditation

12.45 to 01.30 pm : Retreat Session - IV Experiencing Peace of

Mind

03.00 to 04.30 pm : Retreat Session - V Value Based Living

05.00 to 06.30 pm : Valedictory Session

 

In the Technical sessions on 27th Dec, from 12.00 hrs. to 14.00 hrs., there will

be deliberations and papers will be presented on the theme

"Achievements in my field of Science and its contribution towards enhancing well

being of mankind." The participants and the paper presentor should have a

minimum professional experience of 10yrs. in their field of science after

graduation. The papers should be duly typed in Times New Roman, font size 12

(general text) on A4 size page and have a maximum word limit of 2500 words. The

presentation size should not exceed 10 pages inclusive of graphics, charts etc.

The paper must be sent on hard copy along with a soft copy on CD.

 

You are requested to approach/contact Scientists, Engineers, Technocrats, R & D

personnels etc, so that they can attend this Conference

along with you and some of them present the paper. The participants should reach

ORC, Gurgaon by Sunday, 26th Dec. 2004. The sample of the registration form is

attached herewith. This registratin form, duly filled, should be sent/ emailed

to the Co-ordinating office of the organizing secretary, at the following
