re Moon-Lagna analysis

Sanjay,

Thank you very much.. I still have little doubts.. Lets take my

horoscope for example. I have Pisces Lagna and Moon in Virgo. Guru

is in Taurus, Saturn is in Cancer,Mars and Mercury in Virgo and

Venus in Libra.. That means Guru is 3rd from lagna which is okay but

9th from moon which is good, Saturn is 5th from lagna which is not

good but 11th from Moon which is good and Venus is 8th from Lagna

but 2nd from Moon which is okay. Similarly Mars is 7th from lagna

which is bad and 1st along with Moon which is also bad.. Now, which

one will have major impact in my life.. either from Moon or lagna..

I have read the characteristics of both lagna and moon and both of

them seems to match my character. Also from your previous answer I

talk a lot of intellectual stuff but I am a very practical person

who takes others suggestions as well. Thank you very much in advance

for answering my question..

Dear Partha R,

Both Lagna and Moon are important, Lagna indicates the activities

your perform and Lagna lord is your intellect.

Whereas the Moon indicates the mana or the emotional self or

the 'heart'. Moon also indicates the society as mana acts on more

people-to-people level.

Identify which is stronger Lagna vs. Moon and try to make

pridections. Use planets conjoined and in Quadrants to both.

Try to see if the person with Lagna strong is more intellectualy

driven vs Moon strong person who could be more driven by 'heart' and

may take opinions of close people around him to make decisions.

But even if a person has moon stronger the native has to take

actions thru Lagna so both are important.

 

Both Dasa's and Transits are important, I think BVRaman to give idea

says transits are about 20-30% important to make predictions.

 

In my understanding of teachings 3 factors are important for a event

to happen.

1. Birth Chart. This indicates what Karma you are born with)

2. Various Dasas. This indicates how each of the karma you are

born with are unfolding.

3. Transits. This indicates the changes in society at that given

point of time. Use also Transits in another form

a) Dasa Pravesh Charts.

b) Muhurtha. Electional Astrology to get the best from the

environment at the given point of time.
