Dear Chandrasekar ji, Tatvam-Asi, Lakshmi and members

The discussion on Jupiter destroying the bhava it occupies has been very

interesting and educative.

Pt. Sanjay taught in Hyderabad that Jupiter transiting 2nd from UL (or

having rasi drishti on it) at the time of marriage, will protect the

marriage, even if the 2nd from UL has malefics strong enough to destroy

the marriage. This doesn't seem to match the thrust given to the concept

of "Bhava Nasa Karo Jeeva...."

However, I should admit, on checking some charts, I have found "bhava

nasa karo jeeva" concept to work well and I tend to agree with

Chandrasekar ji, Nameisego....except for the above.

Is this an inconsistency? Am I missing something? How does one figure

out exceptions to dictums?

Sincerely

R. Kasthuri Rangan

Dear Ramanarayan ji

It was good to see your mail.It gives a different but thoughtful

perspective.It was great reading -

''Does a Gyani minds about his attire/dress? The videha is unmindful

of his body. Ofcourse one is forced to think that the body is being

neglected by the Gyani.''

regard. As we all know Guru rejoices in learning and at the same

time blesses all his disciples and students with

illumination, success and bestows this wonderful gift of joy of

learning(VRISHABAM CHARSHANEENAM VISWAROOPAMATHABYAM. BRIHASPATHIM

VARENYAM). In his ever expansive mood of furthering his knowledge he

forgets the surroundings and is deeply immersed on the subject on

hand. This gives us the clue about sthana brahsta. He forgets the

surroundings. In other words he neglects the surroundings on

account of his preoccupation. In the natural houses of learning

viz., 4th, 9th and 2nd he happily leaps to the peak of knowledge.

Does a Gyani minds about his attire/dress? The videha is unmindful

of his body. Ofcourse one is forced to think that the body is being

neglected by the Gyani.

UL it is indeed a blessing as this postion brings about the much

required stability in marital life. This is because Guru as usual

goes into the core of being, in quest of knowledge, which act, does

not present a congenial atmosphere for the maraka function(2nd) to

take place.

with the affairs of others. Sani being a natural malefic has a

definite duty of harming the house but in his eagerness to know

about others and to intervene in other's life he forgets to harm the

house he has occupied.

minutes is not correct. The 7th lord Guru is involved in a curse.

Sani is in vamshakshaya shastyiamsa and is BK. Somawar/monday

worship of Lord Siva is compulsory.
