Dear Shri Chandrashekharji and learned members,

 

I am posting chart of a native who is currently facing difficult times in USA.

He quit job, wife lost job, mother passed away. He is now back in a job but

having to live away from wife and son. He is also not happy with his current

job, “I have been thinking of changing my field for over 5 months now without

knowing which direction to head.”

 

He has following questions to ask.

When would we settle down and have a normal family life? Where will we settle location wise?

What can I do to make my Fathers post retirement life easier and happier?

3. Which field should I focus on? I am looking at financial industry but

not sure which area.

4. How does my career progression look?

5. How does my wifes career look like?

 

I am posting my analysis below. I shall be grateful to receive your valuable

comments. I apologies in advance for any mistakes that I may have made.

Birth Details:

Date of Birth: November 30th, 1972

Time of Birth: 12:05 PM

Place of Birth: Ghatkopar, Mumbai, India

 

Birth time: as known to the native is 12.05 pm. The lagna however changes if the

time is advanced by less than a minute. I gave typical physical attributes of

the two alternative lagans to the native. He felt that he was closer to

Capricorn than Aquarius.

 

Native also confirmed that he was a little rash in approach (aspect of Mars on

Lagna), he has problem with eyesight (Rahu in 12th) and that the age difference

between him and his wife was 1 year (Saturn’s aspect on 7H). Had his lagna been

Aquarius, 3H would be aspected by Mars and Rahu. Native confirms that he has

younger siblings and they are doing fine.

 

I have therefore analyzed his chart taking Capricorn as Lagna.

 

Planets exalted/ debilitated, own or MKS: In D1, Jupiter and Venus are in own

MTK sign. Rahu and Ketu are debilitated. Moon is exalted in D9. Rahu and Ketu

are again debilitated.

 

Functional Benefic/ Malefic/ Badhakesh: Venus being 5L and 10L is a Yoga-karka.

Mercury being Trine lord will also be auspicious! Saturn being 1L and 2L will

loose its maleficance but will have limited marka qualities.

 

Jupiter, Mars and Moon are malefic. Moon is marka and Mars is badhakesh. Sun is

neutral, vargottama, strongly placed.

 

Yogas: Malvya Yoga (Venus in own house in Kendra) will give luxury and happiness

Venus and Mars form a rajayoga. Mars with Venus will also be a YK!

Gaja kersari yoga (Jupiter and Moon in Kendra to each other) can give fame and

virtue. This yoga however gets weakened by debilitated Rahu’s conjunction with

Jupiter.

Guru Chandala Yoga (Rahu conjoining with Jupiter).

6L, Mercury and 8L, Sun placed in 11H makes VRY.

 

D9 has dharma karmadhipati yoga,

 

2H: House for Dhana and Kutumba sukham has no planets in it. House is aspected

by its own lord. Placement of lord in Trine is good.

 

4H: House signifying Matru, Sukham and related issues, is aspected by own lord

Mars, natural benefic like Jupiter and Mars and also debilitated Rahu. Lord of

the house is strongly placed in 10H.

 

10H: Mars and Venus, who make a RY are placed together in the house. It is

aspected by Sun and Mercury. Both these aspect will be beneficial to natives

career. Mars gives profession that may involve use of logic, Venus can be very

good for finance as profession or for business and so would be Mercury. Sun may

lead to service industry! Mercury can also give ability to write.

 

12H: House signifying bed pleasures. Jupiter’s placement in own house is good.

Rahu however afflicts the house leading to separation at times.

 

Planets that bring gains: Sun and Mercury are placed in 11th from Lagna.

 

10H in D10: 10H has Mars in it. It is aspected by Saturn and Moon. 10L, Jupiter

is placed in 12H, an indication of working abroad!

 

Artha Trikona in D10: Sun and Mars are placed in Artha trikona ans will

influence the type of career.

 

6th and 7th house: 6th house is occupied in D1 and D10 and hence indicates

preference towards service.

 

Planets that may bring change: Ketu and Venus are placed in 8H from A10 in D10.

they are also placed well from AL. these planets can bring positive changes in

the career.

 

Vimsottari Dasa (started from Moon): native is currently running Rahu MD, which

is debilitated in D1 and D9, it is also placed in Dusthana. As co-lord of 2H it

is also a Maraka. It is conjoined with Jupiter and also placed in Jupiter’s

house. It will therefore give results of Jupiter. Unfortunately Jupiter being

3L and 12L is also a malefic, luckily placed in own house.

 

Rahu dasa will generally impact the significations of the houses owned (2H),

house of placement (12H), houses aspected (4H, 6H and 8H).

 

Vimsottari Dasa (started from Moon):

 

Rah MD: 1987-01-13 (13:38:02) - 2005-01-13 (04:16:41)

 

Antardasas in this MD:

 

Ket: 1997-07-15 (10:12:14) - 1998-08-03 (12:27:46)

Ven: 1998-08-03 (12:27:46) - 2001-08-03 (06:59:36)

Sun: 2001-08-03 (06:59:36) - 2002-06-26 (19:55:10)

 

“Left job in Aug 2001, wife laid off in Nov. 2001, son born in Jan 2002”. Sun is

8L and is placed 12th from dasa lord.

 

Moon AD: 2002-06-26 (19:55:10) - 2003-12-27 (06:19:22)

 

“Mother passed away in Feb 2003, finished MBA, got a job with difficulty, wife

and son living in another town.” I am not sure about the dates but mother’s

death could be in Rahu-Moon-Saturn dasa. Moon is 7L and Saturn 2L placed in 2nd

from 4H of mother. Start date of the new job is not known but it could be in

Ketu or Venus PD.

 

7L dasa also brings instability in Job since it is 2nd from 6th house of

service. It can also bring distress to spouse! conclusion of Moon PD should

ease these issues.

 

Mars MD: 2003-12-27 (06:19:22) - 2005-01-13 (04:16:41)

 

“Did not get due reorganization, considering change in field”. Mars is again a

functional malefic as 11L and as badhakesh it is capable of putting obstacles

and also some health problems. Its placement in 10H is causing difficulties in

the areas of service.

 

Native will be going through PD of Ketu and Venus in Aug 2004 to Nov 2004. There

is some chance that this period can offer him new opportunities.

 

Rahu MD in general is affecting significations of 2, 4 and 12 houses. These

should improve considerably as soon as dasa gets over in Jan 2005. Native can

expect to get together with wife and child thereafter.

 

Jup MD: 2005-01-13 (04:16:41) - 2021-01-13 (06:50:04)

 

Next dasa is that of Jupiter- Jupiter. It being a functional malefic will give

good results in its own MD. Rest of MD will have its normal ups and downs.

Jup-Rahu dasa will be particularly difficult.

Maha Dasas:

 

Sg: 1980-11-30 (13:12:13) - 1992-11-30 (15:00:56)

Sc: 1992-11-30 (15:00:56) - 2003-12-01 (10:46:24)

 

Badhaka rashi with Sun (8L) placed in it. Also Mercury, which is 6L and 9L.

though both are dusthana lords, together they would make VRY. It would be nice

to know if the native got the benefit of this yoga during this dasa period.

 

Li: 2003-12-01 (10:46:24) - 2015-12-01 (12:39:26)

 

Libras is in Kendra with its lord Venus placed in own house. Venus is a YK for

Capricorn lagna. The dasa should therefore be good in long run. Owned by

Benefic and occupied by benefic as well as malefic, the dasa will be

unfavorable initially but good thereafter. Venus being 10L, will bring can

promote success!

A2, A4, A6, A9, A10 are placed in Kendra from dasa rashi, significations of

their houses will generally flourish during the dasas. A3 is placed in trine

and hence same will apply to 3H and significations like skills, younger sibling

will also flourish.

 

Transit: Saturn is transiting through 6H from Lagna but 10H from Moon. Jupiter

is transiting through 8H from lagna and 12th from Moon.

 

Saturn will move to 7H from lagna and 11H from Moon in Sept 2004. This transit

will be good from service point. It may however need some attention on 7H

matters (spouse, relationships). Jupiter’s transit through 9H from Aug 2004

will also help the native. From 9th it will aspect the lagna. Jupiter’s transit

over natal Moon however is not good for financial issues. Next transit starting

second half of 2005 should prove to be really good.
