Guest guest
Dear Chandrashekharji, I might not have understood ur reply properly but still i am attempting to reply back. 1. One logic that I understand on the answers posting on the list is that it increases healthy spirit, but when clues are given and no fixed time frame is set in, there can be many variables. Maybe a date be given and everyone shuold post it on that time, this can be a better alternative. 2. No doubt it takes courage to post on the list publicly but sometimes most members do not have 1% of the knowledge (me included) in comparision of the people who post answers. Some members might post just to prove their Jyotish muscles , some for the fun of flexing their own Jyotish muscles - i feel the later is much better. Some members do not post on the list re such puzzles since they want to remain humble and not allow right predictions to soar their egos. Some people incidentally face an intense struggle with their own egos, trying to control their egos. 3. I couldn't comprehend if u were asking me to post my analysis to the list publicly, then I shall do so and I shall do so without knowing the answer, I shall keep the answer seperate and also post the previous exchanges between u and me re the chart on the list. I don't think so i would ever be able to get the correct answer astrologically, its beyond my scope. For me astrology is becoming very confusing, last night i read PVRs article in whcih he correctly predicted from D10 TP, when 8th lord was in 1st house, his dasa giving job, this to me is very high level stuff beyond my normal understanding o f basic Jyotish Principles. In the later part of the dream, there was intense argument between u and me on Jyotish puzzle esp the stone in ur astrology college and hence I didn't seek to post my analysis on the list fearing that the impending eclipse could spoil my relationship with u and the dream was a forewarning. I hope our friendship remains intact. Thanks, With Blessings of Divine Mother Sunil John Mumbai Chandrashekhar [boxdel] Tuesday, May 04, 2004 1:28 AM suniljohn_2002 Cc: vedic astrology Re: [vedic astrology] Post on Puzzles: a Request to everyone incl the List Admin Dear Sunil, Your suggestions are no doubt good. But we have to allow a degree of latitude for the answers to trickle in. The answers , I think should be posted on the list only. This should not deviate any one in his application of principles of Jyotish. It would , on the other hand, let others know the diverse logic applied to arrive at a solution. You see in so far as my puzzle is concerned, I had mentioned in my first mail that the purpose was to show that one can commit mistakes in assessments and that no one should deride others should the answers fail. I thought the puzzle would make everyone realise how predictions can fail sometimes. I also wanted to emphasise that one should admire courage of those posting the answer, no matter if it is wrong. It takes courage to post something publicly. The post also makes one approach a subject in logical manner and also helps one in approaching a chart without any prejudice. trust you will agree with me.
