Guest guest
Hello, I have not introduced myself before. I have joined this list to get a feel for the terminology and discussion of vedic astrology. I know very little at this point about this system. Possessing no study material as yet, I am at a loss in some of the conversations I have silently followed. Still, I would like to concur in feeling with J. Weiss. The breath is the life and the word (Sound) informs-- at least in my understanding of esoterica. How otherwise in conjoined twins would there be separate entities since there is a shared body (or essential organs) in many instances? I have marked the exact birth time of my three sons with the first breath/cry. The cord was never cut immediately, but rather a few minutes later. I do have a question about birth times which has bothered me of late. That is my understanding that the soul chooses the time of birth. How then is this effected when parents and physicians are scheduling and inducing births to fit their "Time of Convenience" and around vacations. How do you regard this since the timing in interfered with by the will of multiple parties? Thoughts? Suji
Guest guest
Hare Rama Krishna Dear Suji, Each time we take up a chart for analysis, the process involves 'rectification of birth time'. As you explore this divine subject, you may find that there are several parameters that need to be defined conclusively and also that there are severalstunningly accurate predictions being made, despite these! So, each one has to experiment and settle down to 'best suited' definitions. or people with flair for research can dig deeper to unearth the truth. Coming to Soul: Do we really have the free will to do 'bad karma'? It is mentioned somewhere that by killing an animal (an act of adhama), we cut its experience short and thereby forcing it to take birth again in that species. So, what are these acts like induced abortions etc.,? In chatuspada dharma, highest is considered as to take care of this nature (which seems to exist in Satya yuga!), coming down to preservation of self. In th Kali yuga it is supposed to be on 'one foot' that of self preservation. May be...may be .. with our propensity to do bad karma being four fold (in the present times), we may err in judging that our interference in the process of births is a bad karma. ( let me say that no intention to blame but to understand, on my part). Hope this gives some food for thought. regards viswanadham vedic astrology, "westminstersue" <Sue@h...> wrote: > > > Hello, > > I have not introduced myself before. Guest guest
Dear Suji, Can you please send the time of birth and birth charts of your 3 sons to me? I'd like to use them for my research in accurate birthtimes and rectification methods. Thanks. Yours, Dhira Krsna dasa, Jyotishi http://www.radhadesh.com http://www.geocities.com/dvdd1008/Jyotisha.html
