Differences between North and South horoscopes

Dear Sirs,

 

a. What is the difference in the way horoscopes are charted in the

north and south and do these have a bearing on their interpretation ?

 

b. What is the difference between Lahiri,Vakya,Krishnamurthy & Raman

Ayanamsas ?

 

c. Why do so many people believe in numerology considering that

names esp. which are written in the Roman script can be changed but

since the actual name is an indian one, orginally of devnagari or

other indian scripts, cannot be changed without changing the meaning?

 

For example : Shobha De became Shobhaa De but in Devnagari script,

both are written with the double AA sound only so how did it help

her ? I know this particular question is not related to this group

per se but with so many learned people visiting this site, I thought

I might get a proper answer.
