As you have said it is not the drawing that matters, rather the meaning any

symbol is conveying ,is. For convenience representation can be in any form.

Kala Purusha(full zodiac) is akin to human body. Each house in the natal chart

represents an organ of Kalapurusha’s body. But we should not try to find a head

or kidney or another full body inside the heart. If we try to take ear alone as

a complete entity and anaylse - is it meaningful? It has no meaning if it is

not analysed as a part of the organization (human system). We can see how the

head is linked with other organs within the system, though there is only one

head. But we should not try to find a head or full body in every entity. Such

is the case if we think Dashamsha or for that matter any other Amsha, as a full

separate entity.

This would have been possible if the Amshas were like set of papers placed one

over the other or an onion with peels one over the other. Then each paper can

have a full form and the depth of individual papers will give finer results -

Say top most paper is Natal chart, next is Hora chart etc. But unfortunately

Amshas are considerations within a single 360 degree Zodiac. Each divisional

consideration brings a sector of arc. I think at least here we have to agree

without any contradictions. Any individual who can forget software for today,

can take a piece of paper and pencil and try to construct vargas as advised by

Parashara to understand the Gola/Ganita behind this.

The sum of individual parts is not equal to the Whole. It applies here better

than anywhere. We have to understand the importance of WHOLE.

In his book, Jyotisha Siddhamthamu late Sri D. V. Subbarao states that " the

lordships of bhavas and their position in Varga charts is not to be considered

in Varga charts, the bhava lords & their position is to be judicially taken

only from Bhava chart. "

My own concerns and statements like above from scholars, led me to search for

more. With the help of learned members (like discussions in the group and

Chandrashekhar ji’s and other member’s guidance, when the topic of aspects in

vargas came up) & local astrologer’s text books ,i was more and more convinced

that my thoughts were not going in the wrong direction. The main break was

confirmation for my understanding - the natal chart is not the first Varga.

Now my Budhi has limitations and hence my statements have no authenticity. Those

with better understanding may have their own logic and reasons.

Thomas Edison said if i fail thousand times, i also understand thousand ways

that will not work, thus there is no need for me or anyone to worry. Thanks for

your words. Let us hope we will be guided always by the divine in the right
