Guest guest
Respected Members, I went to an astrologer in Chennai for reading someone else's chart, last week. I was not carrying my chart and asked him if he could do a reading if I just told him the placement of planets. He agreed. I started and the conversation started thus: Me: Dhanus Lagna Me: Ketu in 4th house Astrologer: Your father must have passed away. He concluded that my father had passed away just based on my lagna and the fact that ketu was in pisces and nothing else. He did not know about the position of any other planets in my chart. He did not know my age, nor did he know which dasa I was running. Would any of the learned gurus here take a minute to explain how this conclusion was reached? Regards and respects Shivakumar
Guest guest
Really wonderful, if it was not just a coincidence or use of some siddhi. Guest guest
Dear Shivakumar, Your post is adressing The Gurus but if you do not mind, some personal thoughts from my side; I guess, after practicing Jyotish for a long time, some people develop Jyotish Vidya, Clear vision where a chart is not really necessary anymore. Some of these people do use the chart, for double-checking on their psychic, intuitive perceptions (which may be misleading at times). I have personally come across some people who have demonstrated similar feats. These people I have seen are very strict about their diet, and their daily routine, mostly they do a lot of Sadhana, prayers, Poojas etc. Intake of non-satvic food, even the slight deviation I guess blurs their vision. Of course I am not sure whether this Jyotishi you have come across has this perfected Siddhi or not, but generally such talented people one can tell just by their looks and life style. With best wishes, Sabri. vedic astrology, "aerobajji" <aerobajji> wrote: > > Respected Members, > > I went to an astrologer in Chennai for reading someone else's chart, > last week. Guest guest
HAre Krishna Dear Aerobajji, There are several possiblites,as well as omens, the astrologer probably wouldve noted the time you arrived, and couldve done a prasna, 2)also for Dhanus lagna 9th lord Sun is in the 12house,with a maraka for 9th lord merc. plus,SAt is also maraka for 9th lord and is aspecting Sun by rasi dristhi, look how much we see just from THE PRESENT transits onto your chart, which an astrologer would've known in an instant. Also im mathematically not so sharp but over time i do end up knowing what years the major planets were in certain signs, etc. also it isnt so hard to figure out how many years ago Ketu was in pisces, some astrologers are excellent with kind of thing. im sure he coulved, used a variety of techniques, even using nakshatras- all sorts of possiblities, just based ont he moment you approached him,try to cast a chart for time you approached him and lets look at it.. ANy other ideas. Lakshmi k. -- In vedic astrology, "aerobajji" <aerobajji> wrote: > > Respected Members, > > I went to an astrologer in Chennai for reading someone else's chart, > last week.
