Guest guest
Namaste friends, First of all, congratulations to Sri Ramadas Rao and all others who predicted that the exit polls would be correct and Naidu would lose. Andhra voters "rebooted" the government and the visionary technophile Chief Minister - widely known as the "CEO" of AP - suffered a humiliating reversal of fortune. Secondly, Sanjay Prabhakaran asked about the TP chart of Naidu. The same was asked by Partha in a private mail (see below), which I will answer. Dear Partha, you are right as far as the annual TP chart is concerned. Mars dasa finished on May 3 and Mercury dasa started. Mercury is in 8th in rasi chart as well as D-10. In fact, antardasa at the time of counting votes is also bad - it is Jupiter's. While Mercury occupies 8th, Jupiter owns it. It was not a case of missing the dasas. I did look at Tithi Ashtottari dasa when I saw the annual TP chart (I always do). I simply did not know that votes would be counted on May 11. I was too busy to find out the exact schedule at that time and made assumptions. Because the voting started almost 20 days back, I assumed that counting was to take place before Mars TA dasa ended (May 3). It was a far more favorable dasa for him. Mars dasa will come again at the end of the year, but there are no elections then. Unfortunately, counting of votes was slated for Mercury-Jupiter antardasa. But this is a secondary factor. I am mentioning it because some people wanted to understand it in retrospect. The primary factor is Vimsottari dasa and transits. Annual TP is a slave to it. Had the primary indications been good for Naidu, counting would've taken place in a favorable dasa as per annual TP. Natal dasas and transits are the key. I recognized bad transits and yet chose to ignore them on account of the dasa. I believed that Saturn would not destroy his career because Saturn and Venus give Maharaja yoga. Well, perhaps that Maharaja yoga will function only when Saturn-Venus antardasa comes (Jan 2009-March 2012, i.e. next elections). Saturn-Saturn-Mars probably does not give that result. I misjudged Vimsottari dasa and congratulations to those who judged correctly. I will try to learn and improve. Guest guest
Dear Narasimha Thank you for pointing out that Vimshottari and transits are the master which can be substanitated by TA dasa for pinpointing events. This is a important deviation from our earlier comments on the same. When Indira Gandhi won elections(As per your article on TA dasa), she had a very good TP chart, substantiated by good hora lord etc. But i had always this doubt that during bad dasas also, the TP chart can be fine. May be TP charts show the balance provided by Mother Divine. It would really be unfair to dismiss TP charts, because i experimented with TP over a few charts for some important years in their lives, and it is working. But then i also saw very bad TP charts not able to override the good events taking place in a person's life. Every dark cloud has a silver lining. And this can be seen from the particular tithi ashttotari dasa in a particular year. Let me illustrate, i have seen a girl suffering virtually due to ill health throught the year, as both Tithi pravesh and the Tajaka showing ill health. She had chicken pox, but at the end of the year she is getting married in a good family. I learnt from her chart, that even though one might face very bad events as shown by TP chart, yet during the **particularly favourable dasa**" the native might do well. This could be an important research point. ANd probably Narasimha you can change the statement that Hora lord in a yearly chart is "cannot be" the most important planet, even though it might set the theme for the entire year(like illnesses, debacles, raja yoga etc). best wishes partha vedic astrology, "Narasimha P.V.R.
