On Pt. Sanjay Rath's chart (True glorifying Face of pt.Shree.SanjayRath.)

Thank you for your kind words regarding my Guru Pt. Rath and me. By the way, you

do not have to use "Shri" in front of my name. I am younger and need your

blessings. Just call me "Narasimha" or, even better, "Chi. Narasimha".

Addressing younger people as "Chiranjeevi" rather than "Shri" or "Ji" is our

tradition.

 

It must be my great fortune from past lives that led to my association with

Sanjay ji. It must be my great fortune from past lives that led to my modest

abilities which resulted in JHora software and my other modest contributions to

Jyotish, which are bringing me blessings from so many good people. I am thankful

to you and others for the blessings.

 

I just want to make a small technical point on what you wrote on Pt. Rath's chart.

I am afraid that is not correct. Jupiter at 26 Pi 07' 55" is in the 53rd

shashtyamsa (26x2+1). Pisces being an even sign, this is the 8th amsa listed by

Parasara.

 

Thus, Jupiter is in Kulaghna shashtyamsa. Kulaghna means a destroyer/breaker of

the tradition. While I share the same respect you seem to have for Pt. Rath, I

am afraid the technical point you made is inaccurate. Jupiter is in an

inauspicious shashtyamsa.

 

Shashtyamsa does not show the nature of a person. Shashtyamsa of a planet shows

what kind of karma is being carried by that planet from past lives. Jupiter in

Pisces lagna in rasi chart undoubtedly shows excellent intelligence and

character. Jupiter in 4th house in navamsa (D-9) shows his kindness and wisdom.

Exalted Jupiter in 5th in dasamsa (D-10) in Agni dasamsa with 8th lord in shows

the activities related to scholarship and occult knowledge, which are of Agni

tatva, i.e. creating and transforming something. Jupiter in 10th in Pisces in

Siddhamsa (D-24) in Viswakarma's amsa undoubtedly shows sattwik (Piscean)

activities in society (10th) related to knowledge (D-24), which are of the

nature of building something (Viswakarma - the sculptor of gods).

 

However, despite all these good indications shown by Jupiter, Jupiter is

carrying from past lives the bad karma of having broken the tradition. Those

who know him closely know how passionate and committed he is to spreading the

Jyotish knowledge and building a great institute for spreading Jyotish. That

eagerness comes from the bad karma (Kulaghna) shown by lagna lord Jupiter. He

is so afraid of being a Kulaghna again and does not want the knowledge given to

him by his grandfather to go away with him. Of course, given all his Jyotish

activities of this life, he will be born with Jupiter in a very auspicious

shashtyamsa in the next life. I have no doubt.

 

Now, I have seen some discussion about why he has such ruthless enemies. Here are my two cents:

 

(1) A6 shows enemies. It contains Rahu. It shows deceitful and cruel enemies.

 

(2) Shodasottari dasa applies in his case. BTW, you have the lagna longitude

wrong, though the birthtime is right. Please make sure you are using the

correct longitude and latitude. They should be 83e58, 21n27. Lagna is around 14

Pi 04'. So lagna is in Moon's hora and birthtime is in night time. So

Shodasottari dasa applies.

He learnt astrology seriously in Jupiter dasa. Saturn in 3rd from lagna and 7th

from AL in dasamsa gave a nice job and raja yoga in his dasa. Having argala on

lagna in both navamsa and saptamsa, he gave marriage, children etc. However, he

is AK and there may have been some problems.

 

The Ketu dasa that started in Aug 2002 changed his life. He gave up the success

given by Saturn in career and took up the cause of astrology seriously. He had

his first Jyotish conference soon after Ketu dasa started (at Princeton and

Ukiah in the second half of Aug 2002). Ketu is exalted in 10th and his dasa is

bringing all these astrological activities.

 

However, Ketu will give Rahu's results too, as Rahu does not have a dasa. Rahu

is in A6. So the deceit and shocking attacks from enemies will come in Ketu

dasa. Rahu and Ketu being in a Venusian trimsamsa, there can be problems

related to jala tattva (blood etc) in this dasa too.

 

Unfortunately, Pt. Rath may remain susceptible to defamation by cunning enemies

for some more years. Please note that his first defamation (by Dina-natha) came

in 2002 October, soon after Ketu dasa started. The latest attacks basically

state the same. Intelligent astrologers who may be starting to wonder whether

there is some fire under the smoke can easily see it for themselves from the

Parivritti Trimsamsa. That is the chart that shows one's mistakes and sins.

 

Of course, one reaps what one sows. Rahu is in the 3rd in shashtyamsa chart and

occupies Dandayudha shashtyamsa. If he was bold and suppressed some people in

past life, he will have bold enemies who want to suppress him in this life.

That is the sad fact of karma. However, the good news is that he will overcome

all these obstacles in Ketu dasa and succeed in his activities related to

Jyotish. Ketu is quite strong in rasi chart and shashtyamsa.
