Guest guest
I am currently trying to master the use of Narayana dasas in chart interpretation, and in helping myself to see where I am going. Can anyone give me some pointers about Narayana dasas, especially antaradasa and 3rd level dasas? Do you interpret sub-level dasas from the higher, such as a sub dasa 3 houses from the main level dasa indicates periods of self-assertion, business, and related matters. Or do you take each sub period independently, using it as its own lagna system as well? I have personally found it to to mark the activation of each specific house in my chart as reckoned from my natal lagna for any level dasa. But I am unclear as to how to utilize argalas and the like Curtis Burns
Guest guest
Dear Mr. Burns, The following may turn out to be useful: 1. Rule of 3 parts. Benefic Rashis: The sign gives the results in the first third of the Dasha: location from Lagna, AL and planetary position as reckoned from Dasha Rashi taken as Lagna; the lord of Dasha Rashi in the 2nd third; Grahas conjoining and/ or aspecting Dasha Rashi in the last third. For malefic Rashis, the sign gives the results last while conjoining/ aspecting Grahas give the results next and the lord last. This is accd. to a post by PVR, I can't remember which. Pt. Rath suggests that apart from the first phase, the order of the other two shall be decided by which is more beneficial. Pisces will give its results in the middle and the other two can be decided either accd. to PVR or accd to Pt. Rath's view in his text Narayan Dasa. 2. ADs shall give results as dictated by the overall trend dictated by the relevant third running.Their effects will have to conform to the third running. I suppose PDs similarly. 3. Guru Gochar in Dasha Rashi and Kantak Shani etc shall modify the results of the Narayan Dasha. 4. By extension, Argala should perhaps be reckoned for the prominent focal point, be it sign, lord or aspecting and /or conjoining Grahas. These should be taken as temporary indications taken solely from Pt. rath's work and might not be the absolutely correct interpretation. Errors ought to be attributed to me only. Pt. Rath says Narayan is not quite that easy to understand. I am in agreement. Sanjay Ji promised that he would say more about this Dasha in the FAQ section of the aforementioned text. I had asked Sanjay Ji in a private mail if Narayan's Will includes Guru Gochar and Kantak effects or if these are temporary influences on the Will as embodied in effects as seen from various angles through Dasha Rashi etc. If I hear from him, I shall let the List know. Perhaps Sanjay Ji will say something on his own. Whatever. Regards.
