Dear Venkatesh, Namaste. > JAYA JAGANNATHA! > > Dear Sir, > > Namaste. > > Thanks for your reply. > According toy your corrected longidude 2Sc10'32.08. ,the Navamsa Lagna is > CANCER.Here the local astrogers saying that if the Navamsa Lagna is in the > Female(even) sign(CANCER) then only female is possible. Is it really correct > to say that for Male it must be in the odd sign in Navamsa and the female > it must be in the even sign in Navamsa? or any other method is available to > be corrected to male and female? I haven't seen any classics mentioning this point. The only one mentioned in classics for gender determination is the janma vighati. Count how many full vighatis have passed from unrise till birth. If there is some remainder, add one to the number arrived at. Divide the number by nine and take the reaminder. Count from the lord of the weekday in order of the weekdays (Rahu ans Ketu are added as follows: Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu, Ketu). The planet arrived at will be the lord of the Janma Vighati. If it is a male planet, then the native is male, if female, thne female, and if a neuter, thne a neuter.
