Guest guest
Dear Shri Sanjay Rath ji & Learned members I have the following doubts related to Karaakamsha after reading your article, titled Charakaraka & Spirituality. Kindly explain the following to make my understanding complete. The doubt is mainly related with Jaimini Upadesha sutras & Kaarakamsha aspects. The navamsa sign occupied by the ätmakäraka is called the kärakamsa.Or in other words we try to see the amsha in which the atmakaraka(as per your definition, charakarakaraka in general and atma karaka in particular is referred to as karaka) is placed, to ascertain the strength & evaulate the influencing tatwas. For example take this example(Jaimini). If the Karakamsa with Ketu has the aspect of Sani, he will become a Tapaswi or recluse or be a dependent and servant under somebody. How do we understand this?As per my understanding, here three planets are referred to a)the atmakaraka b)the planet who is in the same amsha as atmakaraka(ketu) and aspect of saturn. I feel here the sage is first trying to understand the navamsha influence of the atmakaraka - whether any other planet is occupying the same amsha as atmakaraka and then see any other planet is casting an influence by aspect.I feel this aspect has to be evaluated from the rashi chart. For example if we assume Venus as the atmakaraka in the given case, then see if shani is aspecting Venus(from Rashi chart). Other wise how do we explain the aspects in Navamsha?Which aspects do we go by - Graha,Rashi or Sputa? As divisional charts are demosntrating the amshas within each 30 degree rashi section, how can we apply the above Graha ,Rashi & Sputa aspects on amsha based representations. I request you to kindly explain these for my understanding and knowledge. Respect Pradeep
