It is said that the total number of persons getting siddhi in kaliyug

is more than the total number of people in remaining 3 yugas taken

togather!

This statement is from Skand-Puran.

 

Regarding your remarks about Meerabai,you will agree that she had no

intention of giving bad treatment to her husband.She always respected

her husband. She consumed poision sent by her husband in the name of

God's charanamrit. You know the result. Vish + Ram = Vishram! Jai

Shree Ram.

You can find many similar stories in scriptures where this equation

was fully satsfied. When mana is not involved it is called

Nishkam-Karm.This does not bind anyone.This is why She was free from

all sins. On physical

level her husband gave enough hardship to her to compensate her

neglect.

So again there was no carry forward of karma for her. Most Bhaktas

have

not dischaged their duties towards family and suffered heavily by

wordly

problems.This was just the way to burn out all past and present karmas

so that they can get Moksh. (Look at your personal problems in this

prospective and you will get a great relief.)

 

If you apply your statement to lord Shri Ram or Shri Krishn who killed

millions of Asuras,what will be their future?They will be killed

millions of times by those Asuras!But it is not true.They do

Nishkam-Karm.

 

Shrimad Bhagvat gives a story in support of it.

Once Gopikas wanted to give food to sage Durvas who was sitting on

the other bank of river Yamuna.Since Yamuna was flooding,they asked

for

help with Srikrishn.HE said tell Yamuna that if Krishn is Brahmachary,

give us way.(You know about Ras-Leela of shrikrishn) Gopikas said that

and got way.Durvasa was pleased to eat lot of food given by them.

Gopikas

then asked for help for going back.Sage said tell Yamuna that if

Durvasa

is Alp-Bhojee(less food eater),give us way.(He had consumed lots of

food

just now) They repeated and came back. When they asked Krishn about

the

contradiction in their behavior and statement,Krishn said "what you

said

was correct but what you saw/experienced was wrong!This is the reason

that

on hearing truth,Yamuna gave you way.When I do Ras-Leela,I am not

having

any desires.Similarly Sage Durvasa do not have any desire for food.He

said

that he is Alp-Bhojee because he eats the ego/Ahamkar of people".

 

Regarding Leela of God,I give you another story.

Once Brahma kidnapped all cows and Gops of Sri Krishn thinking him as

ordinary boy.Krishn created exactly similar ones and no one knew

any difference.Brahma realised his mistakes and asked Him to forgive.

 

This shows that even the creator Brahma can not understand His Leela

so Brahma's creation,we and all others can not understand it in any

way.

That is why sages say: Bachcha! Bhagwan Ki Leela ko janna asambhav

hai!!
