Guest guest
Bipin: Yes, we have managed to record the talks and will be converting to CD format soon. As soon as this is ready for distribution, an email will be sent regarding this. Have a nice time at the London conference. Chandrasekhar: Thank you for your kind words of appreciation. Yes, this was a very interesting conversation where I learnt a lot of lessons. One such lesson is that unusual smells should also be given due attention because during the conversation, I distinctly smelt the smell that emanates from the firepit for performing the rituals. This was subsequently confirmed by Sanjay proving that I was not hallucinating, :-). Lakshmi: Yes, this illustrates the case of using nimittas to confirm the reading. I also observed Sanjay looking at his watch but was unable to break through on this; my guess is that it is related to the hora & kala. To substantiate my guess, Sanjay said that the singapore conference had to start from 10.30 am onwards on Saturday (29th May) otherwise it would not be good. Even though the conference program was scheduled from 9 am onwards, somehow things got delayed till the time arrived and then mysteriously things resolved of their own accord such that the conference started at 10.35 am! Later on in retrospect, I realized that Sanjay had deliberately kept the pace slow (by doing the small things which no one notices) and then when proved right, Sanjay smiled like a cheshire cat does and said he had been praying to Lord Jagannath throughout till 10.30 am! About prasna, you are absolutely right. In the final session of the conference, he gave an outstanding example of how prasna can be used to find out why the person had come to the astrologer. Of course, I had personally experienced the full power of a prasna just a few days earlier and therefore was not surprised. Another topic he spoke on is how to conclude a few things from the behaviour of the client; needless to say, this point was demonstrated very effectively in a 'live' manner during the presentation. All these points were from the parampara teachings but when pressed for a scriptural reference, he quoted Nashta Jataka by Mukunda Daivagna. regards Hari Friends. Fun.
