Senator John Kerry was born on December 11, 1943[1] at Fitzsimons

Military Hospital in Denver, Colorado at sunrise1 where his father

Richard, was recovering from a bout with tuberculosis. On that day

sunrise (first visibility) occurred at 7:11':34"am although various

sources use 7:10'am. The chart drawn for 8.03'am has Venus as the

ninth lord of dvädaçämça (D12 chart for parents) in lagna and does

not show any possibility of ill health of father at the time of

birth. Instead, the räçi chart drawn for 7:12'am, the lagna lord Mars

is in the seventh house indicating that dvisaptaté sama daçä will

apply. John Kerry was born in Venus daçä Venus antara. The D12 chart

has Leo lagna. Treat the ninth house Aries as the lagna of father.

Mars as the lagna lord is in the ninth house confirming his fathers'

military background (volunteered to fly DC-3's in the Army Air Corps

in World War II) and independent nature. The fourth lord Moon is in

the bädhaka sign in the 11th house with Venus as Ketu occupies the

fourth house – a classic combination for tuberculosis and other

diseases related to the chest, especially during the daçä/antara of

Venus.

He received the Bachelor's degree from Yale University in 1966. The

education started in Rähu daçä Sun antara as Rähu is in the ninth

house and aspects the Sun in lagna. In the Siddhämça (D24 chart-

education), Rähu has an exchange of signs with the Moon and the Sun

is in the 9th house from it showing the start of college studies. He

graduated during Mercury antara as Mercury aspects the 10th house in

the D24 chart indicating successful completion of the Bachelors

degree.

 

Further education is examined from the 2nd house in the D24 chart.

This is Pisces aspected by its lord Jupiter (Law & Justice). Pisces

has the Sun placed in good strength in it aspected by Mars from

Virgo. Being the ätmakäraka, the Sun is bound to influence this

direction of higher studies. Law College started in Sun daçä Mars

antara. End of this education is examined from the second house from

the sign giving the education. The second house from Pisces is Aries

(3rd house) with Venus in it confirming that he successfully

completed Law college in Venus antara in 1976.

He was awarded Silver Star, Bronze Star with Combat "V," three Purple

Hearts for Vietnam War service during the Jupiter, Venus & Saturn

antara of Rähu daçä. The dasämça is very strong with many planets in

quadrants showing a man of action and grit. All these planets also

aspect the ghäöikä lagna (GL) in Pisces in the D10 chart. Jupiter is

particularly very favorable being in the 10th house in räçi chart and

the lagna & 10th lord in 7th in D10 chart with the fifth lord Moon

generating a Maharaja yoga that promises power position and the

highest office.

 

The planet responsible for bringing him into real politics is the

royal Sun in lagna. In April 1971 (Sun daçä Moon antara), testifying

before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, he asked the question

of his fellow citizens, "How do you ask a man to be the last man to

die for a mistake?" This statement made him very popular and changed

the US public opinion on Vietnam veterans.

 

5. Politics

 

However, it was the Moon forming the Maharaja yoga in D10 chart with

Jupiter that gave him power. The Moon forms the powerful `sasi-

maëgala yoga' (blessings of Rudra) in the seventh house indicating

two marriages and that spouse will be very wealthy. This is also

Lakñmé yoga (blessings of the goddess of good fortune) as the lagna

(Mars) and ninth lords (Moon) conjoin in a quadrant with one of them

in exaltation. In addition, the Moon is also involved in a powerful

Gajakesari yoga with Jupiter in the tenth house – a promise of

undying fame, well being and good karma.

 

He was the Massachusetts lieutenant governor during 1983-85 starting

in Moon daçä Jupiter antara. His popularity waxed with the Moon and

he was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1984 (Moon daçä Saturn antara).

He was re-elected in 1990 (Mars daçä Jupiter antara), again in 1996

(Mars daçä Moon antara), and in 2002 (Mercury daçä Sun antara). The

most spectacular win was in 1996 during the Moon antara (note the

fame yogas formed by the Moon) where he defeated the popular

Republican Governor William Weld in the most closely watched Senate

race in the country. Fame due to victory in seemingly impossible

battles is seen in the Çañöämça (D6 Chart for battles) where the 6th

lord Moon is in lagna.

 

6. Election 2004

 

The Moon antara of Mercury daçä is from Nov 23, 2003 to Jan 6, 2005.

In December 2003 under the blessings of the powerful Moon, he

announced his candidature for the US Presidency. Within two months,

propelled by the powerful energy of the Moon, he defeated and pushed

Howard Dean out of the race. This victory is spectacular in the sense

that Howard Dean was projected as the next US President!

 

With the November elections taking place during the antara of the

Moon, he will surely emerge as the victorious one and in a tough

battle is going to cause yet another upset when he eases President

Bush out of office. This win will be noteworthy in that President

Bush will also be under very favourable stars from September 2004,

and will be under Jupiter antardaçä during the elctions. The biggest

hurdle in his path is going to be money as he has a little over a

million dollars in campaign funds as compared to a hundred million US

dollars with President Bush (Feb 2004). Both President Bush and

Senator Kerry have the amätyakäraka associated with Rähu showing the

capability of handling diplomacy and real politics very well that

causes raja saàbandha yoga and gives success in the international

affairs. While for President Bush the amätyakäraka Jupiter is

aspected by Rähu from Taurus, for senator Kerry, Rähu is in the sign

of Moon which is the amätyakäraka. Both Bush and Kerry will be under

the antardaçä of their respective amätyakäraka promising a very

I used 7:10 AM (sunrise in Denver, Colorado) for John Kerry's

birthtime on my Forecast

I checked for accuracy on this sunrise, and it was indeed 7:10 AM

 

Recently, Lois Rodden's Astrodatabank changed the time to 8:03 AM by

quoting "Frances McEvoy quotes his mother for "sunrise." In

February 2004, Robert Blaschke talked with Karen Thorne, Kerry's

sister-in-law by his first marriage, who obtained a time from Kerry

of 8:03 AM in 1996."

 

7:10 AM works well, but 8:03 AM puts the Sun within 3 degrees of the

Ascendant and has other problems.

 

I also like 7:10 Sunrise because this is an obbvious and powerful

timing event that other folks in the family would have witnessed.

The 8:03 AM time, in resting on a verbal from a distant family

member 8 years ago, and considering Kerry's habit of changing his

mind, appears suspect.

 

Does anyone have any other data or a rectification? Four more years

of Bush, and the entire world may be dust.
