Guest guest
||Shri GaneshDattaGurubhyo Namah|| Dear Mukundji, Even though you have not adress myself I'll like to explain the criteria in few words, I can understand your feelings for Hindus and our sanskriti and I'll say keep the pride of our tradition but don't let this to increase ur Ahamkara!! If u are a Hindu ur first enemy is Ego!! Try to overcome it! Now who is Guru? I'll like to ask u what is the meaning of Guru? " GuKar Avidyakar, Rukar tannashakaa" So any one/thing which destroys Avidya is a guru! U belongs to Gujrat and may be aware of ShriDatta is the ParatparGuru of all Gurus! How many Gurus he have? If u read Avdhoot Gita , U will find there are 24 Gurus of ShriDatta Maharaj! (Who is Guru of Gurus! :-) ) He starts from all PanchBhutas, like water, earth, etc and upto newly born baby!! (Pls read it in details) So who can be a Guru is out of question rather I'll like to say any nonliving thing may also be a Guru (PanchBhutas) and Guru is like a board "This raod goes to Gujrat" that's all! One has to walk on his own. And lastly u will be told that "Atmaiv Guru" (Atma or urself is a guru of ur self) So there is no meaning for Hindu or any one can be a Guru or what? (Try to see Guru in everyone , U can learn in better depth) Now regarding initiation of Mantra , why a DeekshaGuru is needed? U know deekshaGuru is a Deekshit of another Guru and this Guru is also having a Guru (I don't like to use word Deeksha every time) So there is a pamampara or tradition of Gurus and if one wants to reach at end there is the "Atma" (Some can say Paramatma) who is created all this world and created all dieties also! Now when u initiated by a Guru, all this parampara is standing behind you to protect from any enemies (mostly inner enemy like Kama, Krodha, etc and mainly from ones false self!!) and they show u a road to reach to your trueself !! If u know the meaning of Mantra what it says " Mananat Trayte iti Mantrah Uchyate" So it's a manana or in other words "Na Mana" Or in English when your mind disappears you will start a real mantra for that don't you think your Avidya should be disapear? So again u come back to Guru!! What is a result of any mantra " Trayate" which will protect! Protect to whom? your counciouss which will get disappear with mantra that stage should be protected or in other words this is a Sthiti of "Shivoham Shivoham" OR " Soham Soham" !! Now regarding astrology, not only u but many will say there are lots of secretes scattered in India but Sanjayji is the only person who is ready to share his secretes openly to whole world!! Regarding other Gurus as I have told you if you get some knowledge from any one which enlights you consider him as a Guru! I think they are also doing a great duty to teach whatever they have gained in field of Astrology to whole world !! Don't you think so? Regarding Mantras also, let me tell you there are more than 3 lakh siddhamantras and countless mantras in various languages also! Plus vedic hymns are different! So rather than entering in woods of these shastras pls concentrate on urself and ur studies. Try to help people in need and don't expect any Phala (Fruit of karma) I think we don't have that much time to waste rather than living a real life under "HIS" sheltor!!Every second in life is given from that "True Self" as an Gift to all of us try to utilise it in better way ! Lastly I'll say:- "Jatipati na pucho koi, Hari ko Bhaje so Harika Hoi" Note:- Kim Naam Bhajanam Sah Vai Rasam! I'm also expecting you to get belong to ShriHari!! To Err is Human and I think here is a spiritual group and all will forget what u had written, being Haribhaktas they will welcome HariBhakta!! So pls give a second thought on this matter and do write back as a Fresh Maukundji ! || Om Gurave Namah|| Note the Quotes from Shri Kabir :- " Ram Naam To Sabhi Leve, Thag Thakur aur Chor Jisase Dhruv , Prahlad Tare , Wo Naam hi he Kuch Aur" (Think we all know name of Rama but then what is the meaning of above lines? I hope u know hindi as a RashtraBhasha!!) Pls note if one use word "SadGuru" then I'll give more worst reaction to all ,but fortunately here no one claims himself as Sadguru, so what is the problem!! Even though I'm not the Authority I've written few words So if any mistake is there pls rectify me.I bow down my head to HariBhaktas always! WHO IS A GURU? There are lots of foreigners out there claiming to be Gurus who can hardly pronounce "Om" and and the aarti (devotional songs) they sing sound ridiculous and I find these offensive as a Hindu. -- And all of these foreigners claim tobe some sort of a Guru. And, how can these Gurus prescibe a mantra, Shanskrit mantras or otherwise, when they don't know Sanskrit OR Marathi and Telugu the other two languages closest to Sanskrit? Now, some people may write back saying it is not a matter of pronounciation, but a matter of FAITH so any ridiculous sounds these foreigners make out of their mouths are OK. On the other hand, fellows like Narasimha and my family Brahmin and lots of other Brahmins (especially from Maharastra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Varanashi, Banaras and Nasik) INSIST that the prononciations should be ACCURATE.In the old days Gurus used to be divine. AND, in today's India Gurus (not the fake one running around in Jumbo-Jets and Roll-Royces), but the real Brahmins began studying Hindu rituals and mantra-shastra since they are KIDS. My family Brahmin (who is an older Maharastrian guy) knows mantras for ALL occassions at the tip of his tounge. -- He also knows and uses Varga charts (constructed by hand), also knows MOOL DASA (which isn't some deep family secret as claimed by Sanjay--in fact, MOOL DASA is known by many Maharastrian Brahmins I've met and may even be known in other parts of India I haven't visited), and knows many more things about Mantra-shastra and Vedic astrology that most of the Branded Gurus on this board don't know about. AND YET, he doesn't claim to be a Guru.So tell us nameisego, What makes a Guru? Some guy on this board who could hardly pronounce "Om" and hardly knows ANYTHING on the tip of his tounge, let alone knowing the meaning of the Mantras OR a REAL Hindu Brahmin who has devoted his life (since childhood) in learning the Vedas, the Shastras, the Mantra and the Hora-Shastra? So tell us one more thing nameisego, Where does one find a Guru?--a real one, not a web-Guru.My personal opinion (for which I'll soon be shot down) is that a Guru has to be a Hindu and a Hindu is BORN not MADE. A Guru has to be a Brahmin PRACTISING the Brahminic way of living, i.e. follow a strict ritual on not EVER touching non-vegetarian food, not EVER indulging in other vices, follow a strict daily ritual of Poojas, follows a ritual of keeping and feeding cows, AND most importantly follow a strict ritual of LIVING OFF donations AND NEVER EVER PROFIT from his Brahminic knowledge. -- My family Brahmin and most REAL GURUS in India walk from home to home in the morning and collect grains, flour, fruits and minor donations and live off these donations. To conclude, A GURU is born, NOT MADE. And, one would ONLY find such a Guru in India living a poor, simple and Brahminic way of life.Respectfully,Mukundvedic astrology, "nameisego" <nameisego> wrote:> > Hello Friend,> > Initiation into Aaradhana of Bagalamukhi or any other Shakti must be > done by a Guru.Casual approach to powerful pooja vidhans are > dangerous.> > Tatvam-Asi> > --- In vedic astrology, "france12in" > <reghudevaraj@h...> wrote:> > Dear all,> > > > I'm a new member and would like to know if some one can help me in > > finding the strotra or any other mantra of Maa bagalamukhi.> > > > Warm regards> > > > Reghu
