Abhijit need

not be a Nakñatra but can be a muhurta – i.e. a time of day. Abhijit

muhurta occurs exactly at midday and is lorded by Hari – i.e. sun in the

10th house – this is the case with the current chart of Sri

Rama. Abhijit Nakñatra is in Capricorn and is not possible as per the Valmiki

Ramayana.

Notice above

it says that the Nakñatra was Aditi, which corresponds to Punarvasu in

Gemini/Cancer– Now whether this be the Nakñatra at sunrise or at birth is

the question. Being that it is Chaitra Maasa and Navami Tithi also removes the

possibility of Moon being in Abhijit Nakñatra.

Here there is mention of Moon in Abhijit Nakshatra

during time of

birth of Sri Ram. Can anyone please suggest the

mention in Valmiki

Ramayan?

Things will have a different prespective wrt

Vimshottari Dasa from

this, so learned Gurus please clarify as to why it

is/was considered

that Moon was in Pushya during Sri Ram's birth?
