Punishments For Different sins in Puranic Granthas

Can anyone with access to relevant Puranic/vedic granthas

throw some light on punishments prescribed for sins like,

 

GAU HATYA,(Cow slaughter)

BRAHMA HATYA,(Killing a Brahmin)

BHRUNA HATYA (Aborting a foetus)

GURU HATYA (Killing a Guru)

STRI HATYA (Killing wife)

 

Etc??

 

What are the atonements for such sins?

There is a text called 'Adhyatma Ramayana', which is a spiritual

version of Ramayana, originally spoken by Lord Shiva. This has many

hymns, one of which is Ahalya's hymn, at the end of which it says,

 

"Even a person who is gulity of various sinful acts like murder of

holy men, indulgence in immorality, theft and drink, of cruel conduct

towards parents and brothers, of indulgence in sense enjoyments

always- even such a one will attain to liberation if he recites this

hymn everyday concentrating his mind on Rama, and meditating upon him

with devotion."
