Rahu in 12th always may not do harm as it says. For example Rahu in his own

house will never harm the native. I have Rahu in 12th (Piesces Asc.). I am

crossing 34 years and so, far I never experienced any thing bad in the Periods

of Rahu (Because Rahu is in his Own place). Apart from this you must have

noticed from the experiene that the Rahu in 2nd to 6th sign i.e. from Tarus to

Leo, gives the native very high quality of formal education even if it is

happens to be 12th place. I have seen many charts with Rahu in these signs

alone make the native, highly educated even if other planets are not in orders.

ascends spiritually in a birth or not. However, sinful activities such as

murder, adultery, cruelty to children/animals/others are the resultant of

'poorva paap'. While Rahu will assist in unfolding the sinful deeds or poorva

paap, Rahu is nevertheless 'not' the indicator of accumulated sins. Infact, no

single planet can be. It should rather be indicated by the affliction to

poorva-paap. Rahu plays a key-role in giving materialistic fruits and helps to

grow ahamkara/moha and Vanity. Where Rahu is placed in the house of loss, this

causes a deficiency that can manifest as delay in fructification of the fruits

of one's efforts. This is what a stand-alone Rahu is capable of producing and

*nothing more*. Where a native's chart has collective good karma, along a

different view, Rahu as in 12th house causing delays and obstacles is conducive

to breaking lethargy and tamo-guna to work harder which is good for the native

in the long-run. This is my view and I do not differ wee-bit from my earlier

stand. Though I'm not versed in Jyotish formally, my instincts tell me this is
