Or what is your guess about his Lagna? Born; Sep. 23, 1930, Albany, Georgia, USA His family moved few months after his birth to another town He witnessed his younger brother (who was about a year younger) drown in a bathtub in the garden at the age of 5 He only had one younger brother, no other siblings. He got eye disease; Glaucoma at age 5, started to loose eyesight He lost total eyesight at the age 7 Lost his mother when he was about to become age 15, He left school and started recording; 1945 Moved to Seattle, WA, 1948 He moved to Los Angeles 1950 Joined Atlantic Records 1952 Left Atlantic to join ABC 1959 Recorded first hit song, "Georgia On My Mind" 1960 He recorded two more hits, 1961, 1962 Arrested for posession of heroin on 1964, admitted he was addicted since 1940 He won 9 of his 12 Grammy Awards between the years 1960-1966. Had three children from 2nd. marriage from which he divorced Passed away June 10, 2004, in his home in Beverly Hills, due to complications associated with his liver disease. Best wishes, Adnan Sabri.
