Guest guest
Hi, I am teaching myself Vedic astrology. I wanted to understand dispositorship of planets. I understand the basic concept. Just wanted to know how significant is it, in interpreting a chart ? Also, in the following example, is there a final dispositor ? If so, which planet is it ? Jupiter & Ketu in Virgo - a Mercury sign Mars in Scorpio - a Mars sign Saturn in Aries - a Mars sign Moon in Sagittarius - a Jupiter sign Sun, Mercury, Venus & Rahu in Pisces - a Jupiter sign How does one know which planet is the final dispositor ? Thanks a lot & would love to hear from someone, Pratibha
Guest guest
Dear Pratibha, You have given correct dispositors. Dispositor of a planet is lord of the house in which the planet resides. The concept is that house lord being strong the house is strengthened resulting in the planet tenanting the sign also getting strength in addition if he be friendly to a planet, the planet is able to give his auspicious results better. When we want to go deeper, the position of Navamsha dispositor of the dispositor is to be seen in Natal chart to assess strength of the planet. Hope this helps. Chandrashekhar.
