Guest guest
||| Hare Rama Krishna ||| Dear ss Ramesh, You bring about an interesting question..... Here are some thoughts from a fellow-stuent.... As long as we are in the realm of the zodiac we will find that when taking several houses as a reference point (be it the 7th, the 4, the 3rd or any other), will also have the 7th therefrom possibly owning a "dushthana" or Houses 6, 8 or 12. Incidentally House 6 is also of growth. Sometimes, despite some hardships and struggles we grow..... notice no planet has a natural inclination to aspect the 6th House? A planet in the 7th House is indicatve of what the Ascendant is wanting... a desire... Planets therein, reflect the qualities associated with this combination, benefic or malefic, nurturing or harsh, positive or negative, colorful or bland...... For example, the Sun in the 7th may be reflective of someone looking for a very learned person, intersted in reading books, knowledgeble about a variety of things, etc. Now, on the other hand the Sun may be too bright, egotistical and even forgetful..... The environment also plays a role in the 7th. Is such a planet exalted? Is it comfortable where it is? "Natural Malefics" ruling the 7th is not entirely indicative of delays in marriage. Its more indicative of what qualities may attract the person, and where so.....? Mars in the 7th House admires qualities of sportsmanship, competitiveness, agressiveness, etc. Traditional Indian Astrologers also term this as "Manglik Dosha" as the energy of Mars needs to be balanced out (more so at 28) so it does not damage relationships between two people. On aspects, one has to understand what the said ruler of the house is wanting. If we were to extend Mars, owning the 7th House, and aspecting it from the 4th House in the natal chart, the warrior is quite protective of the significant other. This again, is considered a "Manglika Dosha" as such people may be so protective of relationships that they may damage it. Where exactly is the palnet aspecting the 7th House from? Also, is it a Rashi / Graha Aspect (Dristi)? On another note, lets take Scorpio rising. The 7th House is Taurus, ruled by Venus. Venus is the natural significator for the spouse. Venus in its own House, will be harmonizing to alliances, partnerships, etc, though it may make a person quite passionate. Venus in its own sign, in a quadrant is a "Malvaya Yoga" bringing riches to the person at said cycles of time. Ruling the 12h of "Vyaya" or roughly translated as the giving, the person gives to the spouse. Perhaps a lot of expenditure is done on the spouse....? There are many ways of interpreting this... The placement of the 7th Lord in the natal chart will reveal who the person thinks as a lover. So, if the 7th Ruler is in the 11th, for example, the person may find loves in the circle of friends. It is in a "upachaya" or House of growth, so this may even increase over time.... (other combinations to actually reveal more on sustenence of relationships). Do examine afflictions to Venus for delays in marriage along with the 7th House. Hope this helps. Take care.
