It is really a difficult task (especially for the inexperienced ones) as numerous houses are significantly activated during the dates and timings mentioned by you. 1)9th house is activated as transiting jupiter enters ninth from lagna.Jupiter rules 1& 4 and hence those as well.Jupiter aspects ascendant and 5th as well.Thus if we filter out, 1st and 9th houses are involved, plus jupiter.Transiting Jupiter aspects ascendant hence natal ketu is also activated.Also Ketu in transit is 1st from natal moon.Thus 1st and 9th plus ketu and jupiter have significant role. 2)Now Transiting jupiter and moon are together and hence has influence on each other and on the 9th house.Both are aspecting 3 rd house and hence this house is also actvated.Moon rules 8th house and hence that house is as well activated.Now you see Moon and jupier is influencing 3rd house significantly. 3)Mars and Saturn joins natal, mars and saturn, in transit from lagna and hence 7th house is also activated.Plus houses owned by them ie 5th & 12th/ 2nd and 3rd. Both these aspect ascendant from transit positions.Thus from here it shows that ascendant has a significant role and it cleary says the event is closely connected to you.Planets in 7th house are aspecting lagna for confirmation.5th and 3rd also has a role. >From natal moon jupiter and moon are in 11th positions - Hence i expect a gain. I have posted it in a mail to Sunil and the List today. You have gone in right direction. Perhaps the problem was two folds. I use Savana360 days for Vimshottary dasha as given by ancient texts. Also I use tip of Sun at eastern horizon for sunrise. Erect my chart in this fashion, and I am certain you will see the connection. Venus-Venus-Venus will appear to be running. May be i have to put some effort to errect chart in the fashion you have mentioned. But as you have mentioned Venus-Venus-Venus as the current period, i believe the prior period Ketu-Mercury had helped you to interact with and share jyotish knowledge at a public level.(This is known by now). Now transit venus(lord of all three levels) was in 6th from lagna and 8th from moon.7th lord mercury (and dispositor of saturn and mars aspecting lagna)was debilitated in 4th showing lack of mental happiness and 6th from moon.But these indications are too loose for me to confirm.But i need your knowledge and explanations - for understanding the indications well. Ruby indicated by ninth lord sun associating with transit rahu in 5th can also be guessed after getting the answer from you.Debilitated mercury was also aspecting 12th from natal moon from transit position.This mercury is along with sun in natal chart.some loss. As transit jupiter and saturn stays in a sign for major periods- should we concentrate more on other planets to pin point incidents. Anyway, the puzzle, as mentioned in the initial mail, was just an illustration of how difficult it is to pinpoint an event and to show respect to those who predict in writing, even if the predictions fail. More so if sound logic based on astrological principles is used. This also illustrates how methods that appear to be easy to follow are difficult to apply unless one is sound in Basics of astrology, and the great role played by the astrologer's ability to separate grain from chaff in order to predict. Ruler ships of planets, their gems, nature, functional nature etc. all have a role to play. In this case Venus is considered as a functional malefic.How do we determine whether Venus will behave as 11th lord or 6th lord.Is it based on transits and the house getting activated,especially during Venus periods.
