annual TP for judging long-term results?

Dear Jyotishis!

I have a question about using TP. The are two parts of this question:

practical and theoretical.

What if a person is planning to have a first child, but Saptamsa in

the annual TP for the current year is very weak (lord of Lagna and

the 5th lord are both debilitated, 5th house is hemmed between Ra and

debilitated Ma on one side and Sa and the dark Mo on the other). The

next year TP shows a better situation in Saptamsa.

My question is this:

- is it safe to conceive a child in this year considering that it

will take birth the next year, when Saptamsa in the annual TP will be

more favorable?

- or it is risky because there may be abortion, problems for mother

or even problems after birth?

- or TP is not so important to consider in this case, and other

factors should be considered?

There may be another situation when a person wants to start a long-

term business. Suppose, the current annual chart is clearly NOT

favorable for this particular kind of business. Does it mean that he

should not go for it only because the current year is bad? And if the

current TP chart is favorable, but the next two years seem to be

totally unfavorable – what will happen if he starts his business

now: will the good start ensure good results or the next two

unfavorable years may destroy the business? I would like to

understand if the TP technique can be used in such cases, or it is

only meant to show "how things are going during the year".

Please explain this to me.

Let me ask another question, more general and theoretical: if one

tries to choose a good time to start something important in his life

and the current period is VERY beneficial, but the next period is

very bad, and the 3rd period is MODERATELY good, and all others are

average, - is it worth doing it in the current, maybe most beneficial

period in one's life, or it is more reasonable to wait until the

bad period is over? It is certainly advisable to act from higher

principles like duty (and not just seek what is good for ME), so what

is the connection between the "favorable" and "duty"?

Should one see his duty in using the opportunities given by the good

period, even if the next period may (seem to) destroy all the

results, or it is not the best way of action?

Thank you for your attention,

Gopijanavallabha Das
