Guest guest
Thanks for the reply.I have never opined that divisions are not important. The way we look at divisionals currently(as full chart) is bit difficult to digest.May be those who are more learned have their own explantions and logic. From my limited understanding, houses & signs, can be considered only when they are represented fully, as they carry a different meaning and has correspondence with natural zodiac. When we pick up the divisions(which are part and not full) of lagna and planets and try to arrange them, they in reality is not as per the zodiacal order as per our arrangement and assumption. Navamsha is based on nakshathra padas and will reveal more info than rashi. But analysis of navamsha should be different from rashi style. For example if our rashi rising is sagittarius and navamsha is cancer, then cancerian property is very significant. This explains that the tip(lagna) rising at the time of our birth had propety of cancer though the full 30 degree is sagittarius.Looking at what house this cancer owns in rashi will have some info to reveal.Like this there may be numerous techniques.Finding yogas similar to what we find in rashi may not be the best method. I have not read books on navamsha and hence cannot comment on various methods available to analyse navamsha.May be yourself and other learned members could help by revealing your knowledge.A traditional vegetarian living in a non vegetarian socitey can be used as an analogy between navamsha and Rashi. Here navamsha is more closer to your soul(veg) and rashi is the external environment(non veg). For the same reason exaltation ,debilitation in navamsha has more significance. Similar is the case with other amshas like dashamsha or drekkana. The more finer you go,the closer environmental influences you identify. And the more finer you go ,the nearer you are to soul(and hence numerous janmas) and hence nadi astrologers are able to reveal more info based on the depth of division. Certain divisions are repetition of properties but at a finer level. As you may be already aware, this is what is called as harmonics in physics. For example by varying the position of his fingers a guitarist will get identical sounds at places which are at a certain distance from a node.Such is the repetition of tattwa in divisionals. What we have in rashi is a full sign while in divisions we find only the underlying tattwas. Learned western astrologers also advise us not to use houses in harmonic charts.I can give you links in internet which points to western harmonic charts. Again though having certain amount of personal conviction, these need to be considered only as views from a beiginner. Although I have more doubts in it and hence seeking the aid of another gentleman from this list. Thanks for your post re the Mahapurusha yogas in Divisionals, and the example of salt and food. If Rashi was the only chart to be taken into consideration other divisional charts wouldnt have been devised at all, so the salt and the spices are very much necessary. The point remains for us students is to find out how much salt and spice and their real worth. The minutest divisional chart is D 144 ( dont know much about it) according to my limited information which I presume is of the duration of 55 seconds, whereas in Nadi amsa 24 seconds is taken into account as the minutest division (there might be further divisions), and based on this Nadi Amsa they say the life story of a native. So I feel the real essence might be there in the minutest division of our chart, but this is digressing from the main topic of using Yogas in divisional charts. Ofcourse I can be wrong in all the above presumptions hence stand corrected.BestSJ Meet the all-new My – Try it today!
