Parasara is the greatest of the Jyotish. Its Brahma Alone who knows

the Fate.

Learning Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra is like Tapas!

Knowing Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra is the Truth in Jyotish. It

alone has keys to open the 3rd eye.

My salutations to Varahamihira & other who have spent all their lives

dedicating for the Development of Jyotish. May their science never

see a bad day.

Hi,

I am desperately searching for a place to start a systematic learning

and would appreciate if you can let me know where I can get the book

that you mentioned.

Hi,

You can get the BPHS from Sagar Publication, Janpath,

New Delhi

Also there is a good book by Shri PVR Ji "An

Integrated Approach to Vedic Astrology", which is an

excellent book for learners. I got most of the

concepts from this book only. It has properly

organized information with exercises in between to

make sure, that you have got the concept right.

BPHS can be used as a reference book, as there are too

many rules, principles etc memorizing or remembering

them all at one time is difficult thing. Get the

basics strong, practice and more practice, so the

information will be retained in a natural way.

Once you have read several chapters of "An Integrated

Approach to vedic astrology", you can pick up Dr. B.V.

Raman's "How to Judge Horoscopes (Vol I and II)"

Best Regards,

Neeraj Gupta
